Hi, greetings from Ethiopia:) I’m currently planning on applying ED at nyu. I have a 3.8 gpa (unweighted) and an sat score of 1360 (though I do think I’ll get a 1400 next time I take it). My extracurriculars are pretty good ranging from leadership positions in clubs at my school to an international competition I was selected to attend at Harvard. Do you think I have a good chance getting in to nyu or should I not get my hopes up?

wow i have a 1260 sat score rn and a 3.7 … i’m taking the sat again in october but there’s no way i’ll jump to the 1500s or even 1400s 😭😭 i also have little extracurriculars cuz i could barely stay after school and do things. i’m gonna join clubs and do more for senior year, but i’m applying early decision sooo idk do you have any advice?? do you know any people who got into nyu with much lower SAT scores and Gpa than u?
