I am a composer & vocalist from NYC. Currently pursuing my doctorate in music at UMKC, I hold two master's in music: one in classical voice, one in composition. I also have a graduate diploma in composition, which is like a master's. My music has been premiered by the Radius Ensemble, International Contemporary Ensemble, & Etchings Festival, among others. During my undergraduate years, I studied at NYU & earned a degree in Individualized Study. I created my own major there, which I called "Miscommunication." Sometimes I think it's funny how in real life, all these years later, I'm still trying to understand this concept & its impact on life.

My music is often autobiographical. I'm using the tools of composition to tell one long, arduous story. Sometimes it's whimsical, sometimes exciting, often painful. I take solace in the beauty of art & the old masters, & think there's wisdom in studying the past & keeping the best of it alive.
My goal is to contribute to this art.
