Hello, I'm Val and here in my little Maine cottage studio, I am passionate about creating junk journals out of my huge collection of antique and vintage papers, books, fabrics, laces, trims, as well as dyes, paints, odd bits of this, pieces of that and whatever else it takes to make journals that are a unique and interactive piece of art. Husband was intent on bidding at an auction. He knew there was something there I would like. What was it? A cardboard box filled with 9 antique ledgers! He wouldn't let me look at them in the box until he could film me seeing them for the first time. So here is the result. Let's look together. Some of this haul will be available for paper packs in the near future. Stay tuned.

My grandmother had a slipcover on a chair with very similar fabric only with purple in it and purple trim. As a child, I disliked that chair and now I wish I had it! This will be a lovely journal!
