DJI Osmo Action - testing GoPro suction mount and RockSteady feature

Used a GoPro suction mount on the outside of the car, both side panel and roof. Used the Rocksteady feature which gives a beautiful smooth effect, even over some quite bumpy roads. The smudge that appears near the top of the video, at 2:20, was a bug who argued with the front lens. It didn't end well for the bug.

A short video showing the 'Magic of the BeeGees' act in Newbury, 04/05/19. Very good show, shot on an Osmo Pocket in standard (not Pro) mode, with automatic settings. Captured the light / act very well for such a small camera.

My first Litchi flight, getting some lovely views of Segsbury Fort and the surrounding countryside in southern Oxfordshire. Polarising filter used to bring out the blue of the sky...great sweeping shots of Didcot, Letcombe Regis and Letcombe Bassett. Lovely area to fly...

This was my first attempt at flying the DJI Phantom: not very far and not very high, just getting the feel of it. Surprisingly easy to take off and land, which worried me a bit - would be an expensive item to crash! But no problem at all. Thanks to wife Lyn for putting up with a freezing cold day to carry all my spare batteries / remotes, etc.

Interesting video, would love to see a video with the camera placed on the trunk lid facing forward for a cruising video. It would be just the video I've been looking for to place on my playlist. He did Bournemouth twice that year, I was actually in the November one after doing my research there. Must have been the same though. He was there last week as well. I didn't know it was on!

Hi Fred; sorry for the delay in answering, only just seen your comment. No - not at all. I am also using some 'quick release caps' that mean I can attach / detach the prop guards in seconds. Makes me a lot happier to have them on, whilst 'learning'.
