The gal with cut hours definitely needs to communicate with the boyfriend, because if it isn't just bad communication about the deeper concern for her wellbeing, it's crappy for him to be upset about her small purchase and a lack of fancy dates! The person purchasing a book when they are having finance issues can be seen as therapeutic as long as it’s not a regular event. It’s her money. Their account wasn’t joint, so I don’t see why it’s an issue for him. As long as she isn’t in the negative, I think she’s fine. What is money for if it isn’t for spending? 🤷🏽‍♀️
