(at 0: 46) normally with counter thrust the shield would be raised all the time but it only blocks at the las moment. But that is the charge up you would normally see on charged counter thrust. So they might have combined counter thrust with insta block. (basically a chargable multi hit thrust that can parry an icmomming attack mid charge)!!!!!!!! a lot of people ssem to mis this

Another playstyle that absolutely obliterates this guy is Spiral Slash DB. That full body 40 fire hzv is ridiculous. Also I pronounce it like baggy. Boggi already exist, they’re the little goblins in the citadel. Edit: Something to note, you can initiate Hail Cutter while in midair, so you can Blast Dash or Reverse Blast into a midair shelling into Hail Cutter, which will get rid of the super long startup and let you close distance with it. Firing off the singular midair shot is important, though, it won’t let you do it otherwise.

If you’re using an elemental weapon, I’d recommend swapping Fio for Utsushi on HH. He has an element attack up melody.

If you’re using Lucent’s LS, having some evasion skills paired with Status Trigger and Buildup Boost is very useful. Just enter Sacred Sheathe, i-frame something with the dash, and boom you’re now buffed for the big attack. Also the Sacred Sheathe counter’s counter window is MASSIVE. Like you still have a few frames after your sword stops moving.

Neat stuff! Sunbreak Swaxe is so satisfying to watch and play. And no, you’re not alone in struggling with Arzuros skeleton monsters. Idk if you know, but it appears after Soaring Wyvern, if you do a hop into a Morph Attack the phial explosion damage will be affected by Rapid Morph’s damage boost. Not sure if this is a bug, but it’s been consistent throughout the patches.

Struggling at mr5 quests any tips ?

Both crabs actually have a dual weakness. Thunder is the one that matters because it’s the weakest element on most parts, but the claws are weaker to fire. This is completely useless, but technically fire is better on the claws. Also when Daimyo cages up, don’t attack. If you do, he’ll simply counter, but if you throw a sonic bomb, it’s a free knockdown and dropped material.

I know what u mean...before berserk, i really struggle with dodgebolt bcos u need to cart a lot to learn the timing( for casual bow player of cos ) But berserk help a lot in learning...i even change to using spread now bcos i can time myself better at dodgebolt if i were close to the monster N agree, it is a lot of fun when u succeed in countering..now im loving rise bow better than world bcos of dodgebolt😁

I just took out an anomaly magnamalo, funny too considering I just started with my anomaly quest one monsters and the thought to my self “hmm I think I will try magnamalo”. I carted two times but ended up slaying him.

Fyi you have hyper armor during sacred sheathe release. So you can tank roars or just get bloodblight that way.

This was very interesting to see, aerial great sword is not really that common of a build so it’s cool to see it in action.

Great run! I did a 25 minute Risen Kush Special Investigation today with Hinoa and Utsushi, using a Status Trigger Switch Axe set, but it took me almost 18 minutes, mostly because I got hit a lot and even carted three times (it was a 4-cart limit).

They just say is powered up monsters so idk if we get anything. New melding with anomaly parts New events (4 layered, 1 pose), and paid dlc Bonus update in June

Its kinda funny how from World to Sunbreak, the roles of LBG and HBG kinda got swapped ammo type wise. World HBG was known for pure raw and spread builds, and LBG were pure elemental. On Sunbreak it's the opposite xD

how do you unlock this quest, i still have a blue check mark and i dont have this quest in my list ... im MR 172, what am i missing? do i need to red check all the quests to unlock it? because i still have some quests i havent checked from the lower levels

This mission is really pissing me off too, haha. I've tried it handful of times, I feel OP for most other MR missions I have now but am still dying with this one - even the Aurorortle doesnt help me because by the time I fall down and have 1hp left, that dragon bitch hits me with something else 😭😂
