Day 8 Rotorua Taupo Huka Falls Wellington
Day 8 of our Christchurch to Auckland road trip back in June 2021
From Rotorua, the plan was to go to Wellington and go back to Christchurch. We stopped by the geysers before driving to Huka Falls for a pitstop. Then we drove all the way to Wellington. We were too tired to find a restaurant for dinner. So we went to the dairy to grab some snacks and hit the sack.

Day 7 Blue River Putaruru, Rotorua (Whakarewarewa and Redwoods)

Day 7 of our Christchurch to Auckland road trip back in June 2021 From Hamilton, we drove to Putaruru Blue River to do a short walk. We didn't finish the whole leg. Then went to Rotorua for lunch. We checked in, then went to Whakarewarewa (Maori Village). Late afternoon, we went to Redwoods to do the Treetop Walk. Infos gathered from: whakarewarewa.com/

Day 6 (part 1) of our Christchurch to Auckland road trip back in June 2021 We went to see the boats in the marina before going up to Mount Maunganui for the first time. It wasn't the best weather since it was raining. We were having second thoughts if we should summit it or not. Well, we're already there, might as well.

Day 5 of our Christchurch to Auckland road trip back in June 2021 Thank you to Jez and Christian. We drove to the Coromandel first thing in the morning. It was showering on and off but it didn't bother us. We brought our waterproof jackets and umbrella. We also went to the hot water beach before going to our accommodation.
Day 4 Auckland Matakana

Day 4 of our Christchurch to Auckland road trip back in June 2021 This day, we went to Matakana with Jez and Christian. Afterwards, we went to Puhoi Valley, Mount Victoria in Devonport and ended the day with K-barbecue buffet. Also went to the casino before going home.

Day 2 of our Christchurch to Auckland Road Trip back in June 2021 The drive took use 8 hours and 30 minutes to get to our destination. Most of it was sight seeing, stopping for pictures, and relaxing.
