Wow, sorry to hear that. The low temps here are 45 and highs have been in the low 60's. As usual people are complaining as if it were sub-zero temps around here lol !!!

I've yet to catch one switching but, there's always older more interesting power leading these trains. Usually EMD's (mostly Geeps) are used and most of time there is a caboose entow. Something different than seeing the usual GE GEVO's EVERYWHERE !!! Sorry maybe I read too much into your comment or I'm just ranting : ) Seeing trains is better than no trains. - Larry

I'll let you in a a little secret that you probably already know; when a video that I'm watching is long, I set the playback to 1.5 or 2. My sister and I took the Amtrak Coast Starlight from LA to Seattle and, we were 5 hours late.The frustrating part was that we were on time throughout the trip. Just before Portland Oregon we got stuck; a stalled U P train was ahead of us. We were only 145 miles from Seattle, the total trip is 1,150 miles. It was still an enjoyable trip. The trip home we were on time. It's very hit and miss on Amtrak long distance trains. Thanks for watching buddy!

@@bobozo389 That is unusual, it's been overcast and lower 70's here for a couple of days. Next week back in the 80's for 4 days. I prefer cooler temps.
