I've personally watched him manufacture these. He puts so much time and effort into making these. During his quality inspections (which is countless)... if he perceives anything to be off, he starts over. The time invested in making one of them is unbelievable.

Couple points I wanna make, please take no offence lol. 1 don’t blame ryworx for secondary prices, people pay what they think is reasonable, ryworx doesn’t own the market, he can’t tell people what to pay for his knives. 2 you started the convo with a joke and I think the offer he returned to you was also a joke, then you thought you could make an offer and potentially skip the line like you said. I think this is where you’re wrong, paying more or not, cutting in line is pretty unethical I think that’s what makes you the enter of mockery here, so surprise. 3 his customer service is genuinely pretty good, lost the handles in transit and sold me a pair for a fraction of the cost. That’s pretty much all, I think everyone has their faults here. Not just ryworx.

so the thing with jk that i have with him is he doesnt make bad knives and i do agree with his simplicity philosophy to some extent when i asked him why he doesnt go crazy with the hole patterns back at blade show, my thing with jk is he makes better knives for other people, let me explain, to me the goose and the zzyzx are just so much more interesting then his main lineup. again its not that anything he makes is bad, its just i wouldnt choose any of his main lineup*(i still need to try an emmesary and litetech, i dont see them often) as my main flipper. i have a zzyzx and that thing is amazing and ive even considered it making it my beater which is very hard for me to consider for such an expensive piece, the goose looks visually interesting at the very least and ive asked other people and they say the same that the goose and the zzyzx are high on their list but other jk knives arent really, with jks main lineup his knives are great visually and ill even say the blades on all of them are quite possibly some of the best its just when i pick up most jk knives i get this "meh its a good flipper but..." but i dont get "wow thats an amazing flipper". when i picked up the zzyzx for the first time i was like "this is one of the best flippers ive ever held and flipped, im getting rid of the rest of my collection". which is just hilarious to me that i love the way they look im just not a particular fan of how they flip except for maybe the monarch. its why i ultimately ended up getting one of indiana johns customs at blade show over one of jk's pieces like I thought i was originally gonna get.
