I am a 23 year old aspiring Musician, Author, Actor and Artist who is beginning yet another new channel to attempt upping her youtube game to a more professional level. I make videos on music (both covers and soon original EPs), recitation of monologues and poetry, discussions on topics near and dear to me and my experiences, and whatever else I can think of! Whether shoddy or spectacular, the quality of the content you see is up to you and you alone.
Internal Monologue - A Mental Illness Short Film
This is a very raw look into my internal monologue. The sad reality of depression and suicidal ideation is that these are lifelong conditions. I am in my best mental health ever, and still, this voice remains within me. I am able to fight back against its lies, and recognize that the things it tells me are lies, but still the voice remains. I have constant passive suicidal ideation and have since around the age of 8. The truth is this may be my forever, constantly having a voice in the back of my head pointing out my every flaw and putting a voice to my biggest fears. My reality is not unique.
September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month, and instead of making yet another talking video, I thought that the best way to let you know what it is like inside of my head was to give you a literal look inside of my head. There are no exaggerations here. This is my life.

Having an ostomy I'd about as fun as you'd think it would be, but I still wouldn't trade it for going back to the horrid life I was living. I have a new lease on life and with that I hope to work on advocacy for chronic illness awareness and improve people's perceptions of those, like myself, who are disabled. In 1974 in my metal fabrication metallurgy course in college. I made my wife’s gold wedding and engagement rings. I used the ancient way of casting metal. It is called the lost wax casting method. In my machine wood course I turned a rolling pin used in baking. I made it so it would separate with a hidden chamber in it. I put the engagement ring inside the rolling pin. On her farm I gave her clues going from one place to another. She chased after the clues throughout the farm. The clues led her into the her house. I had made her a Cedar hope chest she knew nothing about. I made her some wood spoons and the rolling pin. She was very happy with the hope chest. The hope chest is where a woman would put things into it for her future of the hope of marriage. She picked up the rolling pin and rolled it on the table. She heard something rattling inside the rolling pin. I said to her it looks like it comes apart. I got down on one knee as she handed me the rolling pin and we pulled it apart together. The ring dropped out and I presented it to her. I asked her to marry her. We were married for 45 years until she passed away during Covid. Thank you for sharing your story. Unfortunately we didn’t have a video camera back then to take pictures. Your story brought back good memories💞

You have your facts wrong. Nex was the aggressor, and walked away from that incident with no serious injuries. Her death has no reasonable connection to that incident, nor was it caused by any physical trauma. You're calling for prosecution and suffering of innocent kids, the actual victims of that incident. This is what happens when people fall for rage bait and go off without the facts. Also, the claim that Nex was non binary is completely unsubstantiated. It was made up by redditors.
Nex being the "aggressor" comes only from them throwing water onto them after the group has already been harassing them. And how exact did they have no serious injuries when they had to be evaluated for head injury at the ER? And they did in fact have a head injury as a result of what occured. Yes their death was found to be a result from suicide, a fact that came out after I posted this, but that suicide is directly correlated to the events of that day and the harassment they faced. There was another student with them in the bathroom who experienced the harassment as well. The fact you cannot in your small minded defense of these students understand how bullying could result in Nex's death is shocking. And they were openly nonbinary and two spirit. Do your research. This comment is just dripping with judgement
And the fact you can misgender a student who was, again, OPENLY NONBINARY, is disgusting. Take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself if you feel good about the comments you've made here

Several falsehoods are floating about, including going to the er for head injuries, and the non binary claims (her mother herself said this is baseless). Nex was checked out by the school nurse, went home, then self harmed. There’s no confirmation she had to go to the ER. Even if she did, that doesn’t mean she died as a result of an assault, so you are spreading a lie regardless. And no I’m not misgendering her as that has always been a baseless claim by the internet outrage mob. She is still the one that initially the fight. They weren’t harassing her at the time. No matter how you spin it, Nex was the bad guy in that encounter. To even say the self harm was a direct result of this incident or any past bullying is an assumption at the best, opportunistic weaponization of a tragedy at worst. And to make a more general point, nonbinary people, and the LGBT in general, are actually NOT disproportionately targeted for harassment or violence when you break it down statistically. Some statistics actually suggest they are underrepresented compared to the general population.
