Fourth of July Jello Jigglers
We’ve got a Fourth of July treat that’s festive and fun and sure to be a hit with kids of all ages! Enjoy these red, white, and blue jello jigglers at your holiday picnic!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 90 minutes, plus overnight chilling
Yields: 24 servings
Ingredients:
6 ounces cherry-flavored gelatin, 1 Family-Sized box or 2 Regular-Sized boxes (Aisle 6)
6 ounces berry blue-flavored gelatin, 1 Family-Sized box or 2 Regular-Sized boxes (Aisle 6)
1 (0.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin (Aisle 6)
3 TBSP granulated sugar (Aisle 6)
½ tsp. lemon extract (Aisle 6)
1 cup whole milk (Dairy)
Directions:
Lightly coat a 9x13 baking dish with baking spray and set aside.
Whisk together the cherry-flavored gelatin with 2 cups boiling water until gelatin has fully dissolved, about 1 minute. Pour into prepared pan and set in refrigerator to chill for 30 - 45 minutes.
Add 1/3 cup cool water to a bowl, sprinkle the packet of unflavored gelatin over the top and let soften for 2 - 3 minutes. Whisk in 2/3 cup boiling water, followed by the granulated sugar and lemon extract, whisking until sugar is dissolved. Pour in milk and set mixture aside to cool while the first layer chills.
When first layer is slightly firm, but still sticky (a fingertip lightly touched to the top will come away with the tiniest bit of gelatin), very carefully make the second layer. Slowly ladle the white gelatin mixture of the top of the red gelatin until completely covered. Do not pour gelatin directly over the pan as it will wreck the layers.
Return pan to fridge to chill for another 30 - 45 minutes.
While the second layer chills whisk together the blue gelatin with 2 cups boiling water until dissolved. Set aside to cool.
When the white layer is slightly set but not firm, again still sticky, repeat the process of slowly and carefully ladling the blue gelatin over the top.
Return to fridge and allow to chill, uncovered, overnight.
To serve, dip the bottom of the pan into warm water and use a knife lightly coated in baking spray to cut the jello into small cubes. Alternatively, use a fun and festive cookie cutter (also coating in baking spray) to cut fun shapes out of the layered jello.
Keep chilled until ready to enjoy.

      @diegorivera2257 meh. I didn't like it. I used the leaner cuts of the country ribs. Maybe if I used the Butt country ribs it would have been better due to the fat content.

    What a marvelous template. You could use any flavored pudding mix such as chocolate or pistachio, and so forth. Perhaps adding a small element befitting your choice such as chocolate shavings or pistachios on top. Thank you for a stellar idea.

But here it is for you: Ingredients: 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature (Dairy) 1 package instant lemon pudding (Aisle 5) ¼ cup powdered sugar (Aisle 5) 2 ½ cups heavy cream (or whole milk) (Dairy) 1 tsp. lemon extract (optional) (Aisle 5) Prepared Graham Cracker Crust (Aisle 5) Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed (Frozen) Directions: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (or in a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer), whip the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the lemon pudding mix, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and lemon extract (if using) and mix until thoroughly combined. Filling will begin to thicken while mixing, this is normal. Pour filling into prepared graham cracker crust and smooth into an even layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours, or overnight. When ready to serve, cover with a generous layer of whipped topping and lemon slices for garnish, if desired. Leftover pie can be stored in refrigerator for up to four days.
