Brad Walrond is an American poet, author, activist, and conceptual artist. 'Every Where Alien' is his first collection of poems published by Moore Black Press, affiliated with Amistad/HarperCollins Publishers. Brad’s poems have been published in The Atlantic, Academy of American Poets, African Voices magazine, About Place Journal, and other publications. He’s collaborated with artists like Erykah Badu and Camille A. Brown & Dancers. Brad’s first recording is the single ‘Underneath the Metal’, on the 1997 spoken word compilation album ‘Eargasms: Crucial Poetics Vol. 1’. He came of age in New York City as part of the New Black Arts Movement, Black Rock Coalition, the House Ballroom scene, the HIV Black Queer Artivist Community, and the underground house music scene.

I didn't grow up in the black church so I didn't go through those things I do feel for those who did. The bottom line is you must feel worthy I have always felt worthy of love and anything else. I have been with my black husband for nearly 40 years. He too, said he always felt worthy. I don't understand black gay men who can't break with family or anyone else if it's negative. You get one life so live it.
