Nabatame is my new favourite wrestler at this time.
Does people remember when The Big Show was in one of those thong things
Onde vejo o video original
They don't care about that money they only care about the art.😮😮😮
Apparently it’s a thriving business.
The payout may sound nice, but you have to remember that the higher you go, the less you are allowed to lose and still stay at said rank. Iirc yokozunas often "retire" from a tournament if they've lost one or two bouts so as not to lower their score unnecessarily, and are apparently also "encouraged" to retire instead of continuing in the lower ranks if they keep losing. I'm not sure about the lower ranks though.
Yokozuna can’t go to lower ranks. If you’re a Yokozuna you stay Yokozuna - or retire.
I just dreamt of the anko one. There is nothing like it here where I live. I never had it before but now I'm determined to make it happen.
Absolute pennies compared to what most of the immature, whiner, drama magnets in other sports make. Sad 😔
This is not a path for the weak. Go watch interviews of all former Yokozuna and how the sumo life was very terrible on their health. Why do you think nearly 95% of sumo wrestlers lose nearly 80% of their weight once they retire? Many sumo athletes have diabetes or are borderline like diabetic.
Not worth it health wise
All
They need to use the city assets for a game with daytime and npcs
Reverse bodybuilding
japan is creating its own downfall.
I like sumo wrestling but would never be able to work in it because of my genetics and my heritage. I'm pure while and my ancestors are German and Irish. Nowhere near Japanese or Chinese.
That means literally nothing. Plenty of rikishi hail from outside of Japan. Professional sumo has also had very notable foreign rikishi, especially from Europe. Tochinoshin, who may be the single reason a lot of current foreign fans are fans of the sport to begin with (myself included), is Georgian and reached the second highest rank of Ozeki. He may have even become a Yokozuna himself had he not suffered an ACL tear earlier in his career. Other notable European rikishi include Gagamaru from Georgia, Aoiyama and Kotooshu (another Ozeki) from Bulgaria, Takanoyama, who had a very slim frame, from the Czech Republic and currently active in the top division of sumo you have Shishi and Aonishiki from Ukraine
@zdr7420 I forgot to mention when I posted this comment is I have messed up ankles and I'm currently healing from a surgery on one of them. My tendons are messed up and I've broken my ankles multiple times on each side so if I wanted to do it I would suffer from broken ankles because of how many times I've injured them and my surgerys. I just can't do it tbh
do u know that most known two yakozunar are mongolia

Premium Friday😂 you get to go home on time that day but Monday to Thursday will be hellish overtime to make up for that Friday
Their population is declining because of this. There's just no time for anything else besides work.
A country like Japan time w/ out over time payment was unbelievable accusations.
they GDP is not growing what are they work of 😂😂😂😂
A lot of companies in Japan punish their employees if they don’t show up for work by charging them, and they obligate them to do over time without paying them over time hours . Is not the school- is the government themselves for allowing such companies to get away with this type of abuse- I do hope they star appreciating their employees and taking care of them.
Best way to change it is to change the way schools operate. They indoctrinate the citizens into this mindset by having such strict and rigorous schooling
It's a really long process. Few Japan's school has already closed due to the low birth rate. This mindset needs to be implanted as early as kindergarten, and it can only be seen in a medium to large city. What about someone who lives in the village or small city or an island?
It’s less of a school issue and it’s more of the work culture because Japanese people can be pretty free spirited when not constrained by some of the overbearing work that they are subjected to that’s just my opinion based on what a Japanese friend of mine told me
@@skystreem4860 changing the school system might help change the work culture to make it more healthy. That was the point of the comment I'm pretty sure.
That's why Japanese young people don't want to have children, families or a future, because there is no future for them. There's only work!
These fruits some exist first in china
The super star sumo wrestlers salary is still considerably less than the top baseball players in Japan. And wayyy less than the top NFL, MLB or NBA players
because sumo is not known like a others but it’s really good to watch
but the competition to be a pro athlete in those sports is much greater than sumo wrestling
Millions? Can you elaborate?
looks amazing! what's the name of the place?
Not zoro getting lost and becoming sumo...
Whos that robot cosplayer
I don't know the cosplayer's name. This is the TikTok account @9jqehf
😂 Daolao Tian😂😂 Rumor says she is a trans-woman, who use to work as a tattoo artist…😅
That one dude: "hear me out...“
Lmao the robots are treated better than humans
Hear me out
I need that last robot vro😭🙏🏻
You may want to explain why it’s called Chanko and why wrestler eat it. Wrestlers enjoy most foods and eat a varied diet. Not just Chanko and rice.
You neglect to explain wrestlers earn per basho/bout as well. This is a bonus on top of their salary, known as mochikyūkin. There are other forms that wrestler get their earnings as well. Please speak correctly on the sport. As a channel, you might want to explain the history and respect for sumo that it deserves instead.
At 0:31 he mentions bonuses though. Also, this is a short. Not to put it too succinctly, but he just doesn't have the time to explain the history and respect for sumo in the length and breadth it deserves in such a format, so he explains as he can instead.
@A-ii5dp then he shouldn't try to fit it in a short. It's still a fault on the channel.
@@fettzvettz8718 Then why would you watch shorts?
All of these goofy idiots in these comments. The title literally says “SALARIES” in it. Is money per match a salary? NO. It’s an appearance fee. I appreciate your research, but I hate people that think because they didn’t add something they suddenly failed. He included all he needed to. BECAUSE THE VIDEO IS ABOUT SALARIES.
I will be shoving my dingaling in a robot
Hentai more popular though 💀
Companionship 😭
I will treat robot like things made for weak
caveman mindset
Detroit become human already warned us
superiority complex is an ill
I eat chanko nabe sometimes, but with a little rice.its so damn good.
Everything we eat is little compared to what they eat 😂
My dream is to eat like this everyday
That would be expensive
its not easy to eat that much
Just don’t listen to this channel. It’s a farce with limited information
Yeah you have to be massive to do that or your not going to get money
Sumo wrestlers also get housing provided by the Sumo Stable they're part of, with high ranks either living in one of the single rooms at the stable or a nearby apartment. The high rank also includes the perk of the lower ranks effectively being the Stables service staff.
Im friend with yokozuna hakuho
Sure buddy
And they only live to 35.
That is their retirement age. Average sumo wrestler lives around 65 years.
What? Tamawashi is 40 and still kicking ass in Makuuchi.Yoshiazuma is almost 48, and still active in the lower ranks.
36
What stopped you at 36? Why not 40? 😂
John what!?!!?

Just for context these dudes are like 20% body fat and rest all pure muscle
That is correct
Average is more like 26% pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10195655/
Nonsense, just take a look at their insane gut sticking out and you think that's 20%? Educate yourself with some Greg Doucette videos. It's very obvious the majority of them are 40%-50%++
Bullshit A 350/400 lbs dude isnt 20% bodyfat in sumo if they were they would have more muscle then mr olympia bodybuilders They do have alot of muscle bit also alot of fat "If it jiggles its fat" Arnold schwarzenegger
@wuhhlfarg353 Brian shaw 😐
