A 1937 BMW R255/1 Compressor checked and tested before heading to the Goodwood Festival of Speed assembly area. The Compressor lead the pack of incredible Grand Prix motorcycles onto the track to run the hill. A 1929 ABC - Austin Special. It was termed “The Nameless Wonder” in a 1931 edition of The Motor Cycle magazine. This unique and interesting motorcycle started life in 1929 when engineer John Shaw of Leeds began designing and building his own motorcycle using an ABC motorcycle frame and Austin 7 engine.
