this reminds me of the time i, in an abrupt burst of outrage, impulsively struck my sister with a violin, causing her to fall down the staircase. right after, my gardener friend bursted through the doors and saw this unfortunate scene. after hours of trying to balance overcoming what had happened and what to do next, we finally came up with a solution. faking her death. we staged her suicide on a tree. worry not though, despite my gouged out eye from my traumatised gardener friend we are doing just fine now

What I love so much about the song is how it’s the definition of “people who don’t know” vs “people who know”. You can listen to it without knowing the meaning behind it and still enjoy it. also because of the actual meaning behind it. cause y’know, depressing song for depressing game?

It’s songs like these where I wished i didn’t quit piano and sell it all those years ago. Sometimes I wished I had found my inspiration to keep going way back when I couldn’t find the motivation to continue playing. But then I also remember how piano wasn’t really what I wanted and it was only something my mom wanted me to do to show off to her friends how talented her daughter was. Maybe one day I can go back to playing the piano when I finally have the passion to, instead of doing it because I had to. But for now I’ll listen to this with melancholic daydreams
