Any tips for a solid run? I wanna get into running this but i dont know any good skips/routes. Ive beaten it twice but dont know the best route.

Probably one of my favorite runs because there are no real huge tricks or skips, at least that I do, it's just good pathing and lines.

If you're watching older runs, then coming here and wondering why my time is so much slower it's because A. I'm bad, and B. There are a few major glitches and strats that are no longer in the current version of the game: A. There used to be a skip for the final level that saved about 40 seconds that patched out. B. There used to be a glitch using the "Blink" power up that let you essentially clip through any wall in the game that no longer works. C. In some old speedruns, you'll see them take gray portals known as "Ritual Portals", we can no longer take those as they are not in the "speedrun" version we run on.

Okay, I completely forgot to mention this but it's faster to jump or something just before you finish sprinting, as your stamina heals quicker. You do so in this run, but you can do it slightly later. No idea how much time it saves though. You can also run past the enemies in the narrow tunnels, but it's rare not to get caught in a melee QTE, which is one thing that sucks about this game. This route is also very different to mine. I guess we should probably compare strats and see what the optimal routing is, especially if we find some skips soon. And one final, interesting thing - The "Mash" prompt in the ending QTE says "Press Repeatedly" on PS3 :O

Hey, I'm going to look around for some stuff on Friday. Just wondering if you have Steam or Discord or whatever, since I think it might be easier to communicate and keep track of routing/OoB notes than over UA-cam comments :P

Right, Eco Hotel. I found a way to get to the final fight room. Trigger to end the level isn't there (obviously) BUT I can go back up the stairs and trigger the fire to start. I need to test how far back I can go and what does and doesn't appear and where the level end trigger is, but no-one comes into the final room and, once again, the keypad is unusable. We're so close :P

Nice finds. Would like to help out with those. Eco Hotel seems the most interesting. Is it really the first trigger in the level that lets you use the keypad in the final area? And can't you go back and hit a previous trigger to load it?
