Audio Book Agatha Christie's: Triangle at Rhodes
Hoping for a peaceful holiday far from the troubles of crime, the famous detective Hercule Poirot chooses to visit the island of Rhodes during its quiet off-season in October. The number of guests is sparse, but among them are the vibrant young women Pamela Lyall and Sarah Blake, as well as the stunningly beautiful Valentine Chantry. Valentine effortlessly captivates everyone around her, particularly Douglas Gold, who shamelessly fawns over her, neglecting his own wife, Marjorie, in the process. Marjorie, while somewhat attractive, comes across as meek and subdued, especially when compared to the dazzling Valentine. Valentine’s husband, Tony Chantry, watches this situation unfold, seemingly indifferent, as the absurd spectacle of two men vying for his wife’s attention plays out before the eyes of the hotel guests.
Marjorie Gold soon earns the sympathy of the other guests as they witness her husband's blatant infatuation with Valentine. Feeling humiliated and distressed, Marjorie turns to Poirot for advice. Poirot gravely advises her to leave the island at once if she values her life. However, Marjorie confesses that she cannot bring herself to abandon her husband. Poirot, saddened by her decision, can only shake his head in dismay.
The tension escalates dramatically one evening when a heated argument erupts between Douglas Gold and Tony Chantry. The evening takes a tragic turn after Valentine and Marjorie return from a drive. Valentine collapses, poisoned by a cocktail handed to her by her husband. Suspicion immediately falls on Douglas Gold when strophanthin, the poison that killed Valentine, is discovered in the pocket of his dinner jacket. However, Poirot, with his keen observational skills, reveals that Tony Chantry had stealthily planted the poison in Douglas’s pocket while everyone’s attention was focused on the dying Valentine. Poirot shares this critical information with the police.
Later, Poirot confides in Pamela Lyall that everyone had been misled by focusing on the wrong love triangle. The real conspiracy involved Douglas, Marjorie, and Tony Chantry. It was not the glamorous Valentine at the center, but rather a deadly liaison between Chantry and Marjorie. The two were having an affair and, motivated by Chantry's desire to rid himself of his wife while securing her fortune, conspired to murder Valentine and frame Douglas for the crime. When Poirot warned Marjorie, it wasn't because he feared she would be a victim but because he knew she was one of the culprits. His warning was a final plea, knowing she would face trial, conviction, and eventually execution for her role in the murder. Poirot's final words, "She understood," underline the gravity of the situation.

Love Hugh Frasers’ Performances/Readings, ‘Jason Fraser’ may have taken his voice - but the AI readings feel ‘meaningless’ without Hughs’ Human-Minds’ interpretation. Thank-You for uploading great Human readings!
This isn’t the real Hugh Fraser 🤦♀️ it’s AI
ITs also missing the beginning
Hugh Fraser is simply the best narrator I've ever listened to. His stories never get old. I can listen to the same story over and over. He's so calming and his characters are very appèaling.
Very enjoyable, thank you.

I really enjoy these audio books narrated by Hugh Fraser 😊
@@pauline3379 thanks
Thank you, but I honestly don’t like the captions, sometimes they’re not correct. Just saying. Strictly speaking, they really don’t add anything to the story, very distracting.
Great to hear Hugh again, thank you. But the text is horrible and giving me almost an epileptic attack.
Poirot can only be satisfactorily narrated by David Suchet or Hugh Fraser. The cc is not only ridiculous but totally unnecessary.
Where to find the video of chapters 1 to 4??🤔🤔
Very enjoyable, thank you very much for sharing it with us 👏🥂
No need for the subtitles; they aren't legible anyway. And "artificial intelligence" needs to die. Don't use it for illustration. The result does not even fit the story's setting.
I’d shut off the cc; it’s obviously AI generated. Loath was written as loaded. The worst is how Poirot’s name is written: Poirol, Oco Polo!! Countenance was transcribed as continents! These mistakes are very distracting, as are the captions.
Who knew Fraser was such a great actor, his role on Poirot was so limited. So glad someone thought to get him to read these stories. He’s the best.
Thank goodness...a great narrator rather than dreadful AI
Nice quality.
Excellent presentation! Thank you for sharing.
And Jason Fraser is not related to Hugh Fraser ‼️ Jason Fraser is an ai bot 💥
@@judikingsman6132 both are AI generated

it is misssing the end, which is unforgiveable
Hugh Fraser and Agatha Christie - audiobooks don't get better than that! 👌
The story didn't finish! 🥺
Look for final chapters.
AI, downvote and block 👎
what?
AI, why do you people keep uploading this stuff, it’s not good 🤮
@darrelllahman4190 there's so much of it all of a sudden. And all the fake comments pretending it's not AI are so creepy!
Because it’s quick and easy to produce, you can put up 50 a day, and UA-cam sticks commercials in all of them. So, essentially, money for nothing…as in you can make money by not working. The Buddhist and Stoic philosophy channels are the worst.
@@dshe8637 it isn't AI
AI doesn’t change inflection or accent and it doesn’t pronounce words correctly, Hugh Fraser does.
Hugh Fraser makes cc unnecessary
Unless one is deaf or has hearing issues, of course. I actually use them…when they are decent.
In the above illustration a few things are off. I see: The standing man has only 4 fingers on his left hand. -Hes not looking at the seated figure. -The tall dresser of many drawers has a clock embedded in the woodwork at the top. -But theres another large clock just above...showing a different time. -Theres a heavy chair placed in front of the drawers, blocking them. -The electric lights are on, despite bright light flowing in the windows. -Theres a stack of books blocking a small set of drawers on the desk. -The carriage of the typewriter would hit the odd little lamp at the left of it, when fully extended...at the end of a row of typing.. -And what is that small lamp? An edison light like a candle, in a jar or vase of what...silverware?Pens? -The tray of accompanying dip-pen tools shows no bottle of ink -And theres no requisite blotting pad on the desk. Just curious, odd little things. I really like the moods caught in these AI ( ?) illustrations. And its fun to find the oddities.
wow 😍
@@TheDreamStory-89🥴oh dear 🙄
You're kidding me?! Jason Fraser! 😲 He sounds EXACTLY like Hugh Fraser. And I've listened to Hugh Fraser's narration of Christie alot! Definitely fooled me.
This is an AI version of Hugh Fraser, as can be heard from the bad pronunciation. By the way, it’s two words- a lot.
Thanks for setting me straight. I do know that “alot” is grammatically incorrect as SpellCheck constantly reminds me. It’s just a shorthand I use.
These short story illustrations are always odd. In this image there are several " off-elements." Can you find them? Ill put my observations in another post further above.
😍
The narrator is Jason Fraser
I don’t think this is Hugh Frazer.
It’s AI. They call him ?? Jason Fraser.

@johnaquillo3397 it's AI, that's why they get it wrong
Yep!! 👍
I am enjoying this very much. However, in the future, maybe a little more care should be taken in editing. The last sentence was cut off in the middle of a word. It makes one wonder what else was left out. Just saying...But, thank you for sharing these wonderful stories told by a master narrator!!
