Best of the Best FRC
Just a video I made for fun after the 2015 season of some of my favorite FRC robots. Certainly not a comprehensive list. If you have a favorite robot please shout it out in the comments!

What happened to them
@@ymanextremez9805 Both 1717 and 330 retired from first
@@aaronthompson231 @Zeke Lockman 1717 actual cheated, the would work on their robot and ignore bag n tag, as well as a few other trashy things,
No 2056?

2:38 , R.I.P to one of my personal favorites. Never Forget

4525 2018 was great best cube bot in canada
What about miss daisy in 2012
3:39 Who's next? Strykeforce. Strykeforce is next.
No one ever saw em coming but here we are

Great video
5417!!!! Best team evaaaaa
2767, 254, and 33's bots for 2017 season
DesolationYT {} DSL Pfannk - Glix Too bad the parents of that team built it
um i know its been brought up before but what happened to 1114 2015? or 1717 2015 or 987 from 2015?... also 148 2009 (tornado hype) i'm sorry if i come off as demanding but these robots were really just marvels of engineering and its kind of a shame they aren't with the rest of their peers
971's 2015 robot was pretty intense. Also their 2016 was also really cool. It was so hard for us to defend them.
Dawgma 1712 I love all of 971's robots but getting a tour of their 2015 bot up close in St Louis was amazing. Seeing all the mechanisms work together in unison was inspiring.
are you planning on doing another video with more modern robots? for example 971 2016 or 118 2017?
Alfred Karri I might, although if I did I would probably wait until after next year to make sure I have a good 3 years to pick from
cant wait for it ... also um bit of a personal bias but check out 2056 this year and 1241 last year ... also 610 this year... (if you cant tell im canadian)
also thanks for doing this. i really love the vid
Add Stryke Force 2017
the movement of that bot is just incredible
They sent us some photos and we made our own swerve drive in one year. Highly recommended.
OH I HAVE A STORY ABOUT THEM OUR TEAM HAD THEM SHOOK AT ONE POINT THIS YEAR @ THE ST. JOE COMPETITION IT FELT SO GOOD
@@haileyen353 What team are you on and what happened?
@@haileyen353 oh mAn, was it the same match that they got a card?
why not simbotics 2015 robot
No 1657 from 2015? I think stretchy and fetchy have a place here as well
where is 1678 on this list? I think they should have made it for their 2015 bot
I really wanted to put 1678 but I couldn't find a good place to fit such a short clip of their can grabbers in! Sub-quarter second can doms were the best thing about Einstein 2015.
what is the song?
....179.....claw....2015 iri....
team 885 in 2016 over the summer (not the normal season) with our bottom feeder and scaler that pivoted us 90 degrees
I love this
Personally, 469's 2010 bot will always have a special place in my heart
Ajay Mehta I love that robot as well, I wanted to fit it into this video but couldn't find enough good footage of it. If you know where some is, I'd love to see it!
Jack Sampson the only footage I am aware of is located on the FIM page, as far as I know 469 does not create release videos. If I remember correctly the second match of the finals at states that year was quite entertaining. Though, full disclosure, that may be due to the fact it was my old teams first win (2834). FIM usually has quite a bit of content with Michigan robots, though, as far as I know they are all match videos.
I do not believe that 469 makes release videos. FIM, I believe, has some footage of it in actual matches. I am personally fond of the second finals match at states that year. This may be slightly biased though because that match was my teams first ever blue banner (2834). Basically any Michigan team's robot in the past few years can be found on FIM's youtube page. It is a great resource for teams (I used to use it for strategy)
Cheesy Poofs in 2014 and 2015... it doesn't get much more beautiful than that.
Jopidia Poof's 2017 ;)
Poofs 2018
Poofs 2019
Poofs 2018. Undefeated season.
why isn't this a 624 montage? I heard that they're pretty good
the full court shooters in this are not the 'best of' in any way, I was on 1310 in 2013, and we had a fantastic full court shooter at champs(see curie 72), but the full court shooter that NEEDS to be on here is 67 HOT.
Andrea Valenzuela those were fantastic robots! My team in 2013 was eliminated by another great full-court shooting team, Einstein finalists 1519. I guess it should be clarified that the way I selected robots for this video was by thinking of robots that were my favorite in terms of design and the way they carried out their strategy, and then I found cool footage of them. That's how 118's reveal video long shots and 987's regional highlight full court shots made it in, even though they weren't these teams' primary strategies. I just thought they were cool shots!
And they are cool shots, but 67 was the king of full court shooters that year, not to mention they had a 1114 style climb, that bot needs to be on here.
Hot member here, that robot was loads of fun the have!
Andrea Valenzuela 469 was by far one of the best 2013 robots. Full court from either side, front and back frisbee intake (regardless of upside-down or not) quick cycles and fast 10 point hang. No other single robot was better, they were barely taken down in Einstein finals due to their partner (33) getting jammed.
+Steef I agree w/ 987 2016.
fav robot 2016 was 971 and 987
Steef I'm a big fan of 971's design style as well. 987's robots are always solid, I just find the articulating turret shooter from 2013 to be my favorite. Plus "The Dealer" places top 5 on my list of best robot names for sure.
