Bro, I really miss the feeling that Akatsuki gave me. They were so mysterious, dark and powerful. I would really like to watch an Anime where there is a criminal organization that is as iconic as Akatsuki ( Apart Genei Ryodan from Hunter X Hunter ). The clothes, the members and all the symbolism of Akatsuki is brilliant, it's one of the best things about Naruto.

When Sasori died, Pain said that it became very detrimental to the Akatsuki, he was responsible for setting up spies in many different nations, Sasori was a big asset to the Akatsuki, they didn't possess the level of sophisticated intel on every village until Sasori had joined the Akatsuki. When Sasori was by himself, prior to joining the organization, his name trembled fear throughout the Shinobi world, as Sasori of The Red Sand soaking the sand with blood from his puppets. After the third great Ninja war, his name triggered the Akatsuki to keep an eye on Sasori, which Zetsu was responsible for according to the Manga, and Obito was the one who referred to Sasori as a puppet master genius, even Obito respected Sasori for his strong ambition for puppets to which spoke allot of volume, which most fans overlook since the puppet master Jutsu is very underrated in the Naruto universe.
Apparently, every Akatsuki member's death was planned by Obito, except Nagato's betarayal.
@@ardi1606 That's a fan fiction theory, I'm very well aware of it, but there's no evidence to support such a theory that would be in canon for Naruto Shippuden. Sasori's death was narratively implied, that he heard the cries of his mother and father puppets. Apparently, Sasori had the ability to communicate with his puppets from a low consciousness, this was implied by Kankuro, when Sakura brought him in to see Sasori's dead puppet body, he also suspected, that Sasori became detrimental psychologically, when he realized the mother and father puppets were able to communicate with him from a low consciousness, it's implied in the Manga, that Sasori chose the outcome of his demise, Obito had nothing to do with it. And Pain became very emotional about it, Pain looked at the Akatsuki as comrades, unlike Obito who just wanted to manipulate events that would only benefit him and Madara. But yeah, the Akatsuki's military strength started to decline once Sasori was dead, he was a strong asset to the Akatsuki.
