Stop the #BothSidesism . What is the historical context where you had widespread oppression of straight people by homosexuals? Where was the widespread oppression of White people by people of color?
Those look European
@@timulmer6733 Interesting. I can't distinguish between European chains and shackles and any other.

@Anne.2024 Interesting. Thank you!
I was born and raised in Hallowell - thanks for the cool walk through - btw - Kenny Cox (the guy named on the bench) was a local musician - very beloved - I had a chance to play with him - Hallowell has a wildly good music scene for such a tiny place
@@tonyfigoli1155 Thanks for sharing that! Hallowell is a special place. It's great to finally know who Kenny Cox was. I love how he's honored there. I would have loved to experience the music there. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

What is it like living in Maine? Is Brunswick affordable what anybody recommend that town or what is some of the areas that someone can recommend it is affordable especially in today’s economy and what about coming from the West Coast and the change of the climate and cost a living for people that are on a budget like for Seniors
@@yolandastrickling1815 Hi Yolanda! Here some general answers to you questions based on research online: 1. Living in Maine: Quiet, nature-focused lifestyle with cold winters and mild summers. Friendly but reserved communities. 2. Brunswick Affordability: Moderately affordable. Housing costs lower than the West Coast but rising. Close to Portland and offers cultural amenities. 3. Recommended Towns: Brunswick is popular for its small-town charm, vibrant community, and proximity to amenities. 4. Affordable Areas: Lewiston-Auburn, Waterville, Augusta, Bangor, and Sanford. 5. West Coast to Maine: Expect colder winters, lower living costs, and a slower pace. Heating costs may be higher. 6. Seniors on a Budget: Maine offers tax breaks, healthcare access, and community support. Plan for winter heating and limited public transit. Hope this helps!
Philosophy is probably a misleading term. More like "old pagan esoteric and religious studies", broken down and distilled further through post-modernism. I feel disgust just imagining how debasing for human nature it is.
@@krasimirgedzhov8942 Interesting opinion. I guess you'd have to go there and examine yourself.
@@novelworldtravels Oh, I'd love to talk with the people who study those things. I imagine the dialogues could take so many hours. But in the end I've heard plenty from the ideas they study. They are very, very old ideas. And as Jesus said - you judge the wisdom by it's fruit. These philosophies produce selfishness, vainglory, and spiritual blindness, all in the guise of supposed empathy and enlightenment.
@@krasimirgedzhov8942Just the way of the universe. Everybody is a hunter and a prey. Can we evolve out of selfishness and manipulation? Pretty hard.
@@airnidzo We're not just hunter and prey, because we are not just matter. :)

@@Georgia-oi6ie Ill bet it did! He did a lot of writing there. Unfortunately, I haven't read anything from him to have a clue.
@novelworldtravels I've read several. My daughter is a huge fan. Duma Key was a book he wrote many years ago. Not your typical king book...It was so good.
What years did he live here? I’ve read close to 50 plus books of his and am a fan of his work.
@ScottyKushin Im not certain when he left but he moved in in 1979 if im not mistaken. I think he moved out in the late 20-teens.

It looks nice but I have not seen a card catalog like that in decades. Is it on the dewey decimal system or library of Congress system?
That was an old card system on the Dewey Decimal system. Yeah, I remember combing through cards like those way back!
@ I would love to check it out one day but they only allow visitors on the first level. I guess most of the books are super old? When I get some time I have driven down and used the University of Virginia's libraries. They have about 8-10 and as a Va resident I can check most books out for free.
@@marshallhughes4514 Yeah, I hoped to visit the upper floors, but its not permitted. I personally would not have made a special trip to Peabody if I wasn't from the area. However, it's a nice stop if driving through or in the vicinity.
This is bull. Cooking food allows for us to actually absorb and break down nutrients more easily.
@@zkapsh Depends on the food. This is not meant to be an educational video so i speak broadly, but your assertion is certainly general, but not generally accurate.
@novelworldtravels one of the major reasons they suspect we started cooking foods is we get more energy out of what we cook, alongside killing any pathogens that make us sick killing even some toxins.
Hope you having fun bro
@@alesandrobatista640 Thanks! This was a cool place to visit!
Ive had many conversations about the "Cross" ...The catholic side of the family sees it as a symbol of the sacrifice. To always remember the suffering in your name.. The protestant side of the family has many opinions. Its a killing tool, its a grotesque image of torture...Then some who use it as a talisman lol...I see it as all the above. Im an unorthodox Christian. I was raised Christian yet not necessarily fitting into church...At times i feel like i created my own belief system. Ultimately, im pulled to Christ . I have questions. I have doubts...
@@Georgia-oi6ie Thats cool that you have you own personal approach. There are countless interpretations of every aspect of Christianity. I feel that as long as our belief is centered in love in its many forms, we are doing ok. I wonder about the cross thing. I cant imagine people who have been executed wanted to be remembered for the torture and killing devices they succumbed to. Thanks for sharing!
@novelworldtravels Yes I've thought about it also....especially children seeing the corpse on the cross. It's definitely thought-provoking.
I will visit Hallowell Maine one day soon. I am a Hallowell

We all go through challenging times in life and your generosity helps us know that we are not alone. I identify with some things you spoke about, like Nurses!! They are truly Super Heroes! I always knew they were special people, but I really really found out when I once broke down in the arms of one, it's changed my whole thought process about them forever. What an amazing Son, Father, nephew, brother, friend and Human Being you are ! I know you are not perfect, because who is? But all of your hard work, time, efforts and Love you have and will continue to put into your Father/ loved ones, is a gorgeous quality. I identify with this, I Love my family so much and would do anything for them. Are we normal people that have our ups and downs, sure, But they are the Loves of my Life and again, i'd do anything for them💜! I'm so glad that those challenging times are behind you and this podcast, update video was a great release for you! I'm also glad that you were good to yourself and took in those concerts, Good For You! You needed it! And I'm glad you have more planned!
