The original UA-cam channel of Valen Shieh.
After starting out strong with many interests, the pandemic hit, and I slowly drifted towards excessive screen time and video games. Loss of interest in activities previously enjoyed, more difficulties with parents and siblings, difficulty with school work and grades, and easy irritability occurred.
After hitting the bottom a few times, with some rough patches, I realized I had to make changes, otherwise the direction of my life was not headed where I wanted my future to be.
I did a lot of deep reflection, thinking, and reading, and discovered many things that can universally improve the lives of preteens and teens. I realize it can be hard to go find the information on your own, therefore I am bringing the best to you that I found helpful, and summarizing it in a easy way to understand quickly.
Therefore this channel is dedicated to you and your future. May you be blessed beyond what you can imagine!

Spring 2024 Basketball Highlights Valen Shieh
2023-2024 was a tough year, struggling with Osgood-Schlatter‘s disease, causing knee pain when running or jumping. PRP, microcurrent, and shockwave therapy helped to manage it but it was still difficult.
Here are some highlights showing me scoring 92 points in spring 2024 with our 8th grade school team and CYC league team.

Clairbourn Volleyball League tournament highlights 2024

Our small school has always been the underdog in sports competitions compared to schools several times our size. But this year we won a banner for Volleyball in our league and then this tournament got 2nd place. Here’s our strong showing despite having 2 sick players out, filling in with a 7th grader, and having zero subs. Other schools have full benches.

After being off for two weeks due to severing a tendon in my left hand, this was the first game I came back  to play with my school team. Definitely I was not 100% yet, but I don’t think I did too bad, shooting 9 of the 11 points on our team.

Just a few of the highlights from our school game against poly. My hand was still not 100% after my severed tendon, but microcurrent and stem cells helped to speed up the healing. I scored 13 of the 15 points for our team. Many on our team have not played basketball before, while the other schools get to pick their basketball athletes. But our team is constantly improving!

Does having your 2x12” at level ground causing the supports to be 1.5” higher than the base of the pool cause any issues ?
Someone told me that we don't need to remove the grass on our very level sight. Here in Iowa there's no stones to worry about they said just put sand down. Also we have a ground liner do you put that on the ground or and put sand on top of it or put sand down then the liner then the pool?
That was the same thought I had they wasted a lot of time doing all this digging up instead they should have brought about twenty yards of rock dust and sand and built it up instead of tearing it down because now where their pool is placed it is sitting in a hole where a ton of water is going to accumulate instead of flowing away from it.
