This is the best video I've found for my daughter who has suffered from anxiety and panic moments since being bullied at school a few years ago.Thank you.
Loved the video
Just finished reading ‘Raising Warriors: Preparing Your Children For a Godly Life’ and it really opened my eyes to some new ways of guiding my kids in their faith. Highly recommend it if you’re looking to strenghten your family’s spiritual life

I am in dire need to learn how to teach my small children how to self-soothe. When angrym, they don't listen, they tune out and I get nowhere. Often times this can go on all day... I realize this is MY responsibility to teach my children how to calm themselves, help!
Great suggestions and examples. Thank you!
Awesome presentation. Thank you
Thank you for making this video. Visuals have always helped to bring it to life. I'm definitely going to apply your strategies with the children I will be working with, I know they will benefit from them.

Traumas retain in people with very high arrogance. Entering(submersion 3 times with a certain prayer and crossing yourself) in water springs of orthodox saints (which are near or in monasteries)give very much power and sureness to people with depression, panic attacks, schizofrenia and other soul illnesses, there are some springs of mother of God Maria that heal soul illnesses
How can we do this with preschool children?
Everything sounds good, would be nice if you incorporated the acknowledging of the individuals feelings and attempting to understand why and what are the causes of them feeling a certain way and attempting to see from the individuals perspective or point of view. So, many time the way a child or student feels is valid, understanding what is causing them to feel this way and attempting to remedy the cause is way more useful then telling a child or student to self regulate. Because from their point of view you are not acknowledging how they feel and why they are feeling this way. Communication and understanding are the two most important skills needed inorder to help some one work through a problem or issue. And having the ability to see from their perspective allows you to provide a solution and resolution to the problem or issue.
👍🙏
It would be so great to actually have time to do this on the job 🙈 I will implement it anyway and if I get in trouble for "wasting time" by management I will explain that it's short term pain for long term gain!!! The challenges of working in education seem to be getting heavier and heavier indicating what's truly needed is actually systematic structural change to create learning environments in which escalated situations are less likely to occur but I will be definitely be giving this a go while we acldvocate for better structures for all humans on our crazy beautiful earth!
Look at trauma-informed education. Maybe the administration could agree to join the trend in general education to follow trauma informed practices!
Professional articulation of the issues Very impressive
Love this! Thank you so much for a great resource to share with South Dakota educators!
