I like to set it at 6,000 rpm for when I’m doing road course so I know I have a 1,500 rpm before I need to shift if I’m in a corner or exiting and can’t look at the gauges

@@Royalwhips AWD only adds weight and understeer in the dry. And it's less fun in the rain. The only advantage is traction in low grip conditions. Safe but boring. AWD does not add more grip only traction. Two different things

lol, both cars shouldn’t be considered sports cars? Tell that to my insurance company. BRZ, GR86 and WRX/STI are all considered sports cars.

@@Cats_Are_Scary Yeah I get that, if you try to do sport with them it's risky, behavior is bad at the limit, they don't cost much though so it's fine and lots of things can be done to improve them.

@@Royalwhips in straight line. All the 86 needs to be an all around great is forced induction. The WRX would need seem welds, a diet, conversion to RWD, chassis stiffening, lower center of gravity, shorter wheelbase, better seating position, better weight distribution etc, etc, etc. And more importantly an 86 is a lot more fun. But you can't be scared of corners like WRX drivers....

I’ve never had a problem with my STI eight years old 150 thousand miles on it. I’ve never had to change my engine doing my transmission. All I’ve done is change my oil change my coolant ones to change brake pads and change tires. That’s it still works to the dream and when I sold it, I still got $11,000 for it And still ran like a champ so it’s how you treat any vehicle and you keep up on the maintenance have a vehicle is gonna do well or not. I had a charger once a piece of shit. Had to Get rid of it within six months because head gasket blown after after two months junk.
