10:45 driller can make the vents part of the caretaker fight a little easier Dig a tunnel to the top of the caretaker, Make sure you can see the top. Once you open it, place a satchel charge in the middle of the top And do damage to all vents at once. I also suggest putting a Resupply in the tunnel. Don't know if you know this, but I hope it helped.

from what i understand, free hunters are still there, but now, in case you like a specific normal hunter, you can just use him, without having to get lucky with your free hunters again and again... nad yes, the ui sucks

For me - to breathe new life into hunt would require something more than cosmetic and event changes - I think it needs something special. I was wondering about a parallel game within hunt, that is optional, that would earn you currency of some sort to progress with your cosmetic goals or skins etc. It could be something like a simple gunfight mode (called 'showdown'), but you have to earn the entry, maybe 2 bounty tokens = an entry ticket. Then it could be a winner stays on kind of system - if you survive the rounds to the end, you get blood bonds, or hunt dollars, or maybe the random chance to win a skin. The enemies could be ai hunters with guns, each round they get harder maybe. If the enemies were real players, I think it would detract from the main game too much - this extra side mode would give meaning to the main game - it'd give you a reason to get the bounty (as the bounty would actually lead to money/skins). I'd also like it if they maybe put a super rare skin in a treasure chest somewhere very random on the map, and perhaps even a treasure map could be found in some building. Not in every game of course - just once in a while (like red traits). This too would add an extra level of interest and potential excitement (in that you might find a 20 dollar skin for free). This is the kind of carrot I think would attract players, not the rarity skin scam.

This is the first response video on this latest dev update I've found - normally some of the bigger streamers have been making response vids on the hunt vlogs - for some reason they've all gone quiet on this one...can't think why...lol. Yes - the new changes are really really bad - ui is a huge step back - console ui at moment is fine - no issues at all for me and my friends on xbox. If people find it too complicated, then they're going to have a really bad time in the game itself. 'rare' skin thing is childish - this game def isn't for kids, and they shouldn't incorporate childish psychology into it (like evil cod do).

Hello and awesome video! I mostly play as a psyker and have been playing about a month or so. I run assail and seem to run out of crystals to throw on level 4s which can get sticky when there's a lot of enemies, is this build a better alternative?

Stop with these meta guides, do category metas if you must, like what's best with chaff, what's best against heavy, etc. But this obsession with trying to nail down just one loadout to tackle everything is why the community is at where it is right now in regards to the rebalance patch. It's baked the brains of everyone into believing everything outside of this "meta" sucks when that's far from the truth if you ask anyone that plays regularly in quasi coordinated groups, and we can tell you that everyone with the same super loadout does not perform as well as a group with a well rounded loadout variety with distinguishable roles.

There is no meta builds. Just use what you like

The explosive liberator is pretty good in a team. It can flinch quite a few different enemies.

Thing I've found is that the Liberator Explosive actually works well against the robots. Having that small explosive in it, you can take down those "chainsaw hand" robots in less than a magazine. Same when aiming for the face with the bigger boyz amongst the robots

Earlier it was stormy on the planet we were on and I for some reason decided to set the items we got outside in front of the door. ALL OF THEM WERE METALLIC. I stepped outside and immediately heard bzzzzing. My friend then stepped out too. I tried to warn her to go back in but all i managed to do was scream and then disappear into the door lol I noticed she didn't come inside after a few seconds and immediately knew she got struck by lightning that I caused. I was right. We just barely didn't meet our quota because of that, because one person gathering junk wasn't quick enough to get us the 42 extra dollars we needed since we were on a dangerous planet and it was getting late. Yes, we had a quota of 1,041 dollars, and we managed to get exactly 999 dollars. If she hadn't died i am confident we would have reached the quota. Truly one of the lightning moments of all time

I actually found for myself that stunlocking hordes and releasing the smite at about 30% is enough with it pushing over most enemies buys me more than enough time to quell the 30% and charge up the next smite before they've even begun to move again. Rinse repeat. Not as effective against big targets but they tend to last 0.3 seconds into a stun anyway with a good team. Still man good vid, almost identical build to what I use. So good haha

You can use your Venting Shriek ability while casting smite to keep the chain lighting going for a short time, since it reduces you peril by 50%. I found that using Venting Shriek at around 80% drops it down to 40% which gives me more uptime on smite. If I have the passive that reduces cooldown on elite kills and have a few warp charge stacks (3 to 6). I can chain 2-3 Venting shrieks while using smite to keep it going. It's not an infinite smite like before, but you can extend it.

Its a fun build but ive found not as consistant as going with fire nades (still taking that bleed talant) and going over to benidiction to pick up until death and its upgrade because its a great saftey net and i just thing loner is garbage since you never want to A: be TO far away from your team and B: the buff is 75% less effective considering its not buffing allies. And then going back over to puckup shroud feild and then the movement keystone. Yes you do missout on crit cd reduction and a decent amout of crit chance but you get alot more utility and tankiness w/o losing alot of dps that most of the time dosnt even matter unless your hitting a monstosity or a crusher.

My favourite build in Darktide. I will still recommend switching the blades of faith with immolation grenades (while still grabing scrouge though), when you see you have a team that mostly don't need to pick up nades (vet regen, ogryn rocks, psykers). They are far more polyvalent ultimately than the knife, providing you with a clutch massive aoe damage to save your team (and yourself) from a rough situation. If going with Blades, I suggest switching the stubgun with shredder pistol or combat shotgun to have some form of fast horde dps to clear out trash when the situation requires. But if you're confident in your team and the comp is good, going all out on elite/special sniping is great, and in character :) Otherwise I'll still make a counter argument for master-crafted over perfectionist. Your dps is more than enough as is (one shot crushers is enough, no?), and 6 sec is very clutch to complete a puzzle, res an ally, or litterally cross the map to put some distance with a monster or else, when in a rough spot. With the ability regen than you get from crits and backstabs, you will be invisible all the time, making perfectionnist honestly quite superfluous, imho. Again, if you have a reliable team and you're not playing with randoms, then sure the extra bit of dps is better, it is simply not as tactically flexible as having more invi. Also master's retribution, while not necessary, still provides you with a free out of jail card against hounds, for that one time the hound actually grabs you. Pretty neat. Great vid! Btw the surge staff gets the damage bonus from smite with empowered psionics and doesn't consume the charge. You can just be 1 shotting all of the heavys instead of stunning/staggering them.

Best thing about psyker is you can get your crowd control without losing out on DPS in so many different ways. Think my favorite to run recently has been a debuff trauma staff with assail, flame shrieks and psionic charges

New mission types would be my number one wish for a new season. Something completely new like a 5th player in a "commander" role, not actually playing, but guiding the other 4 dwarfs, dropping the supply pods, hindering/attacking glyphids with certain weapons and abilities, alerting the other dwarfes of swarms/big enemies, helping the team by using certain skills and so on would be really cool too. Had this idea from the older battlefield days were laying somewhere on a roof playing as commander was as much fun as actually playing. But yeah new weapons, new overclocks/overhauls, new perks/overhauls or even a 5th Class as dlc would be great too.

I am actually excited for this new game and for everyone who is mad at gsg I am actually agreeing with that sentiment. They could've handled this so much better because basically the news we got is that drg is gonna be dead for a full year basically after having one of the most lackluster seasons because they are working on a shiny new game. Now I understand that there are reasons for this but that doesn't matter because essentially this is what happened and what most of the community thinks just happened, so very few people will be excited for the new game when it basically just killed drg. Honestly I think this could've been easily avoided just delay the game a bit longer and actually fix season 4 or release season 4 with much more content and good content that actually changes the gameplay loop then announce the game and nobody would be mad.
