As a retiree, I intend to move to Spain but will meet with an immigration lawyer due to the tax brackets in Spain. Not only will I have to pay US taxes on my income (pensions etc) Spain will tax it as well. So the savings I hope to gain by living in Spain must outweigh the taxes etc. Though there are countries that are more tax friendly (for me) the infrastructure and other amenities will be different so again- must weigh the priorities, what is important for me. I sense young people moving to Spain becomes much more difficult- employment, career opportunities, and yes, taxes. Thanks for sharing!

No company is limited to only paying £50k, what was referred to there is a tax credit of up to £50k after which tax would be payable - this is the start up incentive. The benefits on Gibraltars tax system is that companies pay tax on a territorial system - what is accrued and derived in Gibraltar is subject to CIT.
