I'm pretty inexperienced to editing and music selection. My goal is to show people the beautiful side of anime. Technically, this isn't an AMV channel. Because I don't know cool edits and songs. I give place to beautiful landscapes, not cool fight scenes. There are already many great sakuga channels and I don't watch too many action series either. I try to avoid similar videos as much as possible.
The name of the channel is just a "director's cut" joke. No special meaning

Ghibli and Shinkai films are undoubtedly the first names that come to mind when it comes to "beauty" in the industry. That's probably why there are thousands of videos made about them. Since the major channels that I personally get inspiration from also make videos about them, I give priority to underrated productions

This is my favorite video of the channel. I love how mystical Monogatari is, and where that feels most present is in Second Season. The scenery and atmosphere are beautiful and conveys so many emotions to me. Definitely one of my favorite anime.

I've known about Rose of Versailles for years but was hesitant to watch it thinking I wouldn't enjoy an anime from the 70s. I thought it would have terrible animation. I finally watched it this year and cried so much because no other anime touched my heart as this one. I regret not watching it earlier, I regret being so close-minded because this is one gorgeous looking anime out there.
