I have a 69 as well that I want to start restoring. My dad passed away last year, so he left behind an 85 s15 and a 69 beetle. Im having the engine rebuilt on the s15 currently, and once im done getting that one in respectable shape, I want to restore the bug completely. I like what you did with yours. That’s the look I want for mine. It’s a light blue with black interior.

Iam repeat a member of the Volkswagen automobile club of Long Island New York State even tho vw German automaker is mucho cars vehicles whatever our club is only vws basically those models sold imported to the USA as I have said joining an auto club you make new amigos learn things where to get parts help on your cars plus doing nice events parades bar be question at times members help each other with their cars myself business it is fun fun fun not every where will we all get a long or be friendly with all members who come go die or else we have had nice events ideas planned only once 3 next time 4so day trip called off never was rhinebeck New York this happens at times all depends member interest who really will do it or your car out of use I am have been around autos mucho of my days can not work on them mucho knowing plenty honestly will mucho true all auto makers have their good bad or ugly designs problems my 1988 vw vanagon was a bad antifreeze leaker the way it’s rear engine was made unless a firrerent one Japan was it Subaru use still problems repeat have said some newer vws models are harder to get parts than older ones vw beetleseasy so far our presidents 1960 bug so easy he says enjoy your day it is later than we all realize
