Scuba Diving the Bayou La Batre Boat Launch
I got a call from a friend that she dropped something in the water. She asked if I could come recover it for her. The video quality is not the best and if you’ve ever launched here or fished this area you know the water clarity is not great at all. And if you use this boat launch it’s cool to see what it actually looks like down there. The item was recovered so watch the video to find out what it was!

Most of my videos are shot in or around Dauphin Island Alabama. However, the weather the past several days has been terrible and the water was super dirty. So we decided to take a trip down to the beach and do a different type of fishing.

We tried to get some live shrimp the morning of but anybody that has ever fished this tournament knows how that went. Caught a break between storms to load the boat up and go on a quick trip. We have had a lot of rain here recently and the water was super dirty. However, we were still able to put a couple of fish in the boat. I am also a huge conservation fan so all fish were released to be caught again! Had a rough start from the beginning. It was a cloudy and overcast day raining on and off. To top that off, the battery to the boat was dead when we put her in the water. Took my dad fishing for his birthday and we caught all kinds of different fish. If you pay close attention in the middle of the video, pops accidentally cut his line that was in the water. I was able to quickly grab it and right at that time a fish took the bait. I was actually able to land the fish!! We caught several white trout, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, and speckled trout.
