Thanks for all the helpful comments. For anyone that wants to know: I main Fox but like to mix it up with Mario and Pikachu (and some other characters but likely not in ranked), Not a fan of mirror match ups so I usually open with Pikachu and then play Fox game two if not mirror match up and Mario if it is. I currently don't know how to wave dash (or any of the other techs). I did try learning wave dashing briefly a year or so ago when I first heard of slippi but was having difficulty finding players of my skill level to practice with so eventually stopped playing it till recently when I heard about "ranked days" where you can play ranked for free every 4 days. Currently finding games either too easy or too hard in ranked so might not be the best way to improve. Dont think that fox was bronze, maybe got paired up against a silver, it happens sometimes, but your movement needs some work, dash dancing with pika is huge, and dont dash attack with pika its pretty bad. Try not to get discouraged by slippis matchmaking system and focus on your own improvement

1. This is def not a bronze fox player. I've seen people hard stuck in silver who are worse than him. 2. You should work on short hop aerials and movement in general. 3. At low percents, grab works a lot better against Fox, and on flat stages you have an up throw chaingrab on him, but it's a little difficult to pull off. 4. Don't panic air dodge, try to work on either using an aerial or learning to get comfortable with up b to either retreat to ledge or go on stage somewhere where you're sure you can't get hit. Pikachu has a lot of quick aerials you can surprise the opponent with when falling, so try mixing in fair, nair, or bair when falling. The slight timing and positioning differences can throw people off. 5. At around 75-80-ish% you can up throw upsmash fox if there isn't a platform for him to tech on. For Mario, I would suggest checking out this the Mario tutorial video by a played named "A Rookie." Above all else, don't get down on yourself. Practice wavedashing and general movement on your own, and then start mixing it into actual matches and you'll get comfortable. It'll become second nature to you, I promise.

Game 1: Learn to dashdance and do it all the time. You should basically be always dashdancing in place instead of standing still. This is for many reasons, but a very simple one is that burst of speed allows you to attack with nair instead of dash attack. Those rolls should also be dashes. The other two so far have mentioned grabs. I think you'll find that grabbing won't help you right now because pikachu's running grab has terrible endlag. Once you start getting a little better you can start Shieldgrabbing and JC grabbing and then grab will be a good option, but at your current skill level grabbing will hurt you more than help. Those downsmashes are good. You can also combine them with a wavedash beforehand to get more mileage out of it. Avoid airdodging in the air, it's better to airdodge into the ground at an angle or a platform. Wavelanding is a really big key to melee's movement and the more you get comfortable with it it'll help you a lot in the other ranks. Because you're using pikachu (whose good at high level) your character's strengths aren't going to be as obvious in bronze tier. You should play him almost like he's captain falcon: Dashdance, jump, nair. F-smash by ledge or when the opponent spotdodges (like you did several times here), get really loose and comfy with flying around the stage and platforms while spamming aerials. You'll find that his horizontal movement is really good & once you have a handle on it you can punish the opponent from just about anywhere on stage. Once you're dashdancing regularly you'll find upsmash becomes a decent option for callouts in neutral. It's the strongest uncharged smash in the game iirc. Pikachu's upair is also really good so anything which starts leading into will help you (like upthrow). Downtilt is great for poking the opponent's shield, not so great when the enemy is above you. Once you start incorporating wavedashes into your gameplay you'll be able to spam tilts and smashes more. Game 2: Mario is all about fundamentals. Idk who your main is or if you've even picked one out. If not, I recommend just going into training mode (or against a cpu), picking captain falcon, and just spending a bunch of time getting really comfortable with the game engine. Wavedashes, L-cancels, dashdances, jumping nairs, wavelands. Falcon is pretty unwieldy so if you're able to learn to control him well that skill will transfer to the rest of the cast. Mario is a slippery character, so wavedash downsmash, wavedash grab, and wavedash f-tilt are your best friends. If the name of the game with pikachu is dashdance nair then with mario it's wavedash -> option. Bair and Uair are both really good and should be used about as often as you can (bair in neutral, Uair in combos or under plat). === The main thing is you need to learn dashdance nair. It works with just about any character and will help you get on your feet. "How is this guy (fox) in bronze" um... to put it nicely he's combo fodder. Get one opening on him and he crumbles.

I think a really helpful thing for you to learn is a basic grab combo like up throw into up smash (which works on fox for both characters you played funny enough) and learn how to dash dance out of the way if you think they are going to jump at you. I think you could get a lot of dd grabs since not a lot of people (fox players especially) know how to overshoot correctly at low level. Also as pika I would consider doing overshoot nairs as well if I were you

You should go for more grabs instead of Dash Attack, you might get away with it for now but its easily Crouch-Cancelled or beaten by ASDI-Down tech. Pikachu has a pretty good chain grab on Fox and will generally lead to more % in those situations where you go for Dash Attack. also pls stop air dodging where you really don't need to LOOOL

Not working on

Can we not play multiplayer with a party when we are on split screen? I can find game when I am 2 (split screen) but once I join other friends party can’t ever find game

So basically there's only splitscreen on PS5 and Xbox series X. So its not available for PC, PS4 and Xbox series S and below.

To access split screen you simply need to connect a 2nd controller and log into a profile that has an Activision account (or create one for it). Then accept terms of service for black ops 6 and try again by connecting 2nd controller with jump button. Let me know if this works for you.
