In Mark's Gospel, Paul is the sower who went out to sow, but birds of the air (teachers/scribes of the Law) sent by the chief priest of the Jerusalem Way (James the brother of Jesus) devoured up the seed that Paul sowed, robbing Paul of his labors. Peter was stony ground, and separated like a hypocritical Pharisee from eating with Paul's Gentile believers when some (scribes) came from James to Antioch (Galatians 2:9-14). Since the Gentile churches only knew Paul's Gospel and Paul's Jesus, when the Gospels were written by the Gentile churches of Paul, then the Jesus of the Gospels was written mostly as a parable for Paul and Paul's teaching about Jesus. This was to authorize Paul's teaching over against the Judaizing teaching of the Jerusalem church (Way). And this is the basic meaning and understanding of Mark's parabolic Gospel, which the other Gospels also mirror. That is why Peter, James, and John come off so "Poorly" in Mark's Gospel - pun intended. This does not mean the New Testament is bad. It only means that most people do not understand it.

Well hey, when someone is still a sinner and alienated from God then why wouldn’t they feel like this? Even the Bible claims that the carnal man cannot discern the things of the spirit. He can not submit to God’s law and his need for Grace of the Gospel with his Holy Spirit are foolishness to him. I remember at how much outrage and rebellion I had towards the truth found in the Bible. Even after I had gotten saved and filled with the Holy Spirit it took me time to accept. Friend, you cannot judge the „pillar and foundation of the truth“, i.e. the Church Jesus founded in Mt 16,18. The Church led by the Holy Spirit established the canon of Holy Scripture at the end of the 4th century and she is the one that judges you. If you trust Jesus that „the gates of helll shall not prevail against the Church“, then there must be one Church that is from the beginning and has continued succession of Bishops who hand over the apostolic teachings (interpretations) since the time of the Apostles. Odd and inaccurate video. The Early Church Fathers DID include Judith. Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Catholics include it.
