SafeBAE is a survivor-founded, youth-led national organization whose mission is to end sexual assault among middle and high school students. As the only national peer-to-peer organization of our kind, we help promote culture change by giving teens the tools to become activists and shift school culture through raising awareness about dating violence, sexual harassment and assault, affirmative consent, safe bystander intervention, survivor care, and their rights under Title IX.
It's Giving Red Flags FINAL
Knowing what unhealthy intimacy looks like is critical to preventing it. Violating consent can happen unintentionally, through pressuring a partner, leveraging guilt, and many other ways. The more we talk about it, the more we can understand it and prevent it.

In this short film Nessa, anonymously runs a social media page called "It’s Giving Red Flags" and calls herself "The Ref." Through this page, she encourages her peers to share stories about their relationships, helping them identify potential red flags by calling out manipulative or controlling behaviors, often seeing that consent comes into question. As Nessa processes their stories, she actually begins to see red flags in her own relationship. These stories explore situations that are often overlooked when we think about the need for consent and aim to disrupt the simplistic and binary portrayals of consent found in mainstream, heteronormative media. The film ultimately sheds light on how easily we can miss red flags in our own lives, emphasizing the need for education and honest conversations on how to prevent toxic relationships and violations of consent.

That's right and it's unfortunate and sad to see that 15 year-olds are more mature than old men with power.
It's so good to see young people speaking out.
Strength has a way finding other's even when we're vulnerable on the inside.
why doesn't this video have more views!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you ONLY have 775 views?!? This is AMAZING. Email me (on my website or on IG @glamourpussmd)!! Let's collab on something together!
I was raped by 2 guys exactly 2 months and 9 days ago. As a 15 year old girl in highschool, this was really hard. I had rumors going around saying that I was pregnant and that I wasn't actually raped. I was called an attention whore, skank, and a lier. The guys messaged me through social media saying that they would beat me up if they ever saw me. I was so scared and broken. Law enforcement is barely listening to me. You all have helped me so much. I love you!!! @SafeBae #QuitThisShit #letourvoicesbeheard #rapesurvivor
Thanks for sharing your story-- you are so inspiring!
