im so tempted to just get a 7800xt or a 4070 and just flag this scarcity 5000 series bullsht...and just be happy with that.

I recently bought the game on steam with all the DLC. I played it for a few minutes on my 4060 laptop. Could almost max it out with framegen etc and the gameplay was relatively stable above 60/80fps. But man, I remember when this first game out and the character models all looked beautiful to me. Today you can really see the flaws when you compare it to games like cyberpunk and even cyberpunk's character models are starting to age a little. I wonder if there is a mod where all the character models (faces and bodies) for main characters and side characters + quest characters are updated to look better. Because I am planning on replaying this game in the near future (on a new desktop PC that I'm waiting on) but I need to play kingdom come and cyberpunk first

Your not actually using dlss. Your using dlaa. In this game to make dlss work tou either need to set internal resolution lower than natuve then select dlss....or you need to turn on dynamic scaling to like 66% on both min and max and use dlss. When you set internal resolution to 1440p and dynamic to 100% its not using dlss in the fashion tour thinking.

Did you download any mod to reduce stuters? And a tip, the frame rate is very small on the screen when I'm not in full screen it's almost impossible to see the frames

Bro add DLSS 4 DLL file to the game the quality is superb with DLSS 4 even on performance preset.

dont know if the screen recording is impacting your performance but I'm running almost the same setup & same settings, all max + path tracing & im averaging real time 90fps in the city .. only real difference is your running the 5800X3D, im running the 5700X

better play it maxed out ray tracing with frame gen and dlss quality

This game is awesomely optimized. With my 4090 card it runs over 200 fps in max settings. The game looks better than all new games and runs way better. Awesome job Capcom 👍

Just upgraded to 4070, and indeed when im playing GoW for the first time. My 1070ti and ryzen 2600x held it good on Ultra at 1080p, very well optimized game, but also its from 2018. I guess it has 0 need of such hardware, unless you play 144-240hz

You could get more performance out that chip if you undervolted to -30 on all cores with PBO Tuner. I'm rocking a 5700X3D but a MSI Gaming X 6600XT and tuned it so my temps never go above 60c on the CPU.

You got to check the performance when you reach Svartalfheim with all the fogs and swamps because thats where your fps drops to 60 or even 50. Also I find that framegen and dlss very good in this game.
