it's worth investing in to keep sealed, almost never worth it to open packs. why gamble when sealed boxes are guaranteed to appreciate?

The pulls are horrendous in this set. Pokemon collecting is more of a diquised gamble than it is a hobby like it used to be.

Bro you got cooked. I opened 1k worth of product and got 2 SIR Chus and a bunch of other epic hits. This was a very very bad opening...Pokemon should be liable for such bad sorting.

Ugh and I thought the Japanese pull rates were bad with only 1 SR+ guaranteed per box. I opened 10 boxes and although I did win big with the Gold Pikachu and SAR, the others were duds. The stupid Gold stretcher, and SRs worth under $5. I'd be less salty about it if I didn't get mostly Cyrano, Clemont and Durants... I really miss sets you could almost complete with a booster box or two... it's messed up if you buy an entire case of boxes but still miss a lot of the secret rares. Hopefully Prismatic Evolutions makes it easier to get those SAR cards... JP improved the pull rate for that at least. Shiny Treasure ex also had a terrible rate for SAR... I opened 20 boxes and only got the Nemona and Cassiopeia SAR... no Gardevoir or Mew... I ended buying a JP single since the English Mew is going for $300 and rising... this hobby is crazy... if the illustrations weren't so good I'd stay gone. I almost wish they'd stick with the 5Ban graphics type cards cuz that's why I quit collecting in the first place lmao
