Watching this I’m reminded of how lucky I am. I have three kids, and I have a car. And I have my ex who is a supportive co-parent who has a car. My kids have never had to rely on public transportation or a hired ride. Frankly, I don’t depend on the kindness of strangers, I insulate myself and my kids from any perceivable threat.
