Actually there is a source that Haman's ears were abridged (k'tumos) in some way. The is brought by Rabbi Gil Marks, z"l in his Encyclopedia of Jewish Cooking. It is somewhat ironic, as Oznei Haman were not triangular, but long and thin, and hamantashen is just a Purimization of MunTashen (poppy-seed pockets). So Haman's ears may actually have looked something like what is today incorrectly called "Haman's Ears" (Oznei Haman) in Israel. I don't know of any source that Haman had a hat like the Jews of Bavaria and Colonial Ameircans (three-cornered).

So they DID use motion capture! I guess I can go back to mentally comparing them to Starship Troopers: Invasion and - far worse - Resident Evil: Damnation. Then again, the ratio of quality in proportion to budget is probably quite good.

seems to me they left out Esther to avoid having a "provocative" woman in the film. also im not so into the name "Megillas Lester".. Bad Vibes.. sounds like a creepy man i want to keep away from my kids. it DOES look very well done!

I loved the scholarly aspect to this film. I will stop asking questions on minor details now.

I personally find it fascinating to see what's involved from the technical aspect to make a 3D animation video of this magnitude. The render farm concept blew me away considering the costs of each individual computer, but it made sense. Same thing with the amount of work involved in creating each individual object (e.g. the lion, bike, etc.) Very well presented.

So can Masha go into the past and take over for Moshe?
