Is Paddington 2 The Best Family Movie of 2017?
Paddington 2 follows the beloved bear from Peru as he tries to get the perfect gift for his Aunt Lucy's - a unique pop-up book of London. When the book is stolen by washed-up actor Phoenix Buchanan (Hugh Grant), Paddington is wrongly imprisoned for the theft. While the Brown family works to clear his name, Paddington brings warmth and marmalade-fueled cheer to his fellow inmates, including the intimidating prison cook Knuckles McGinty. The film culminates in an exciting chase sequence involving multiple trains, with Paddington and the Browns trying to catch Buchanan, who has discovered that the book contains clues to a hidden treasure. Throughout the adventure, the film maintains its predecessor's charm while delivering a heartwarming message about kindness, family, and how one small bear can transform an entire community with good manners and an open heart.
