It's actually also possible to defeat him in Patapon *2,* there is a mission where he teaches you how to use a miracle, however if you don't follow his instructions and start to fight him instead, he is going to brush it off at first, but after you damage him enough, he will start to hurt you, normally he would be powerful enough to wipe out your entire army, considering the fact your on the earlier stages of the game, but if you hack your army to max equipment and rarepon level, or be patient enough to use Tatepon hero, (although might take you hours), you can actually take him down, I don't remember what happens after that...I think his army had unlimited health...
