Watching this right now because I've missed riding mine for the last couple of months. Back tire tube blew out, and I just got a replacement tube a couple weeks ago. Buddy of mine replaced the tube just last night, I'll be back on it this afternoon. Gotta get some more fun out of it until I sell it next year. (Hopefully to my younger brother so I can still steal it from time to time)
I'm still sad I sold mine, I'm thankful that it funded the next bike but I wish I could've sold it to a friend or family so I could see it from time to time, I miss it dearly.
@@oliverthecat6529 yeah, I'm planning on keeping it close by, but I've got a couple cars and I'm getting a street bike before I leave for college, so it doesn't make sense for me to hold onto it when I'll be living in a city. I just want to sell it to my brother or another family member so I can ride it when I visit.
My first bike ever, SO MUCH FUN. HIGHLY UNDERRATED
I found a DS80 for 700 on marketplace, @Oliver the cat is this a good deal?
Hell yeah, especially if it looks anything like mine, most are really beat up. After fixing it up a bit I sold mine for 2200 and I still regret it. One thing I would recommend unless it was immaculately maintained is disconnecting the oil tank and mixing gas yourself, since it's an old part that could fail while riding and you won't notice until damage has already occurred, so I wouldn't rely on it.
@@oliverthecat6529 its not beat up from what i could see. I'll try to buy it whenever i get time.
Don't power shift that bike
why not... The DS bikes had long ratio durable transmissions that love to drop into gear with its complimentary predictable power band.
Year?
1983
Anybody else here just because the wanted to see somebody with the same bike
Lol its the reason I made the video! I was watching videos on the bike but there aren't many videos where they actually look alike in good condition.
@@oliverthecat6529 yeah I know i replaced a bunch of stuff on my engine to the originals got a new Kickstarter new shock ready to put my bike back together but all the parts are so rare anymore its $70 for my Kickstart
@@holli6358 sheesh, I bought mine for $600 rebuilt it for $200 and sold it for 2k, coulda got more nowadays. I bought a Honda 150f and rode it for a year before trading it for my bike I have now, I think I’ll continue the trading up forever all thanks to that lil Suzuki.
Yes
Lol did you ever figure it out, I wanna get rid of the key on mine
Nah, I actually just sold it recently.
@@oliverthecat6529 ahhh, why, im pretty sure similar to cockraoches, a crf150f can survive a nuke iirc lol. But ah, I saw another video where the guy pulled some wires under the gas tank and essentially deleted the ignition by wiring it to itself, (pull the signals off the ignition, and loop the main power wire from the ignition back into the ground [which imo pretty radical] ) so maybe someone did that, then instead of plugging it in normally, they did so backwards, this would make the ignition backwards..... I think, lol
@@TylerBigHead yeah, probably just some flipped wires.
Are those bikes semi auto or sumn ?
No, both bikes in the video are 5 speed manuals, I just shift like a G
@@oliverthecat6529 lmfao 🤣
i have a 2004 CRF100R
Eli
CRF100s are awesome little trail bikes, dummy simple and cheap to repair. I own a 2006 CRF150F now. basically its big brother with an e-start.
i have a chinese moped with a Honda Monkey engine so it accelerates 125km
me and my dad have a ds80 them things are quick for pit bikes
They are really fast for their size, i got mine up to 90km/h
@@oliverthecat6529 yeah i feel ya got mine up to 100 kmh nobody believed me until i race a couple 125 with my ds and literally blown them away and they never did catch up so those lil 80 with its proper rider can be up to a lot of potential
