Good job! A couple mistakes in the beginning. Province victory point costs are EVERY GAME. Yeah, makes it more difficult as you go.

I got this for Christmas and cannot figure out these automa cards. I've never played Wingspan before. Are you saying the black square cube and the cube that is crossed out you don't do any kind of action? Why are they there, then?

surely you could easily win the scenario, because you only have to claim one objective point, right?

Slight inaccuracy, you track time from the day you played, not the one you are playing. That is so, because you place the blue cube on the start space, and move it in the upkeep phase after you return the patrols. That is so because as soon as you place the day tracker on the 15th day, where END is written, you lose. You only get 14 days to play, otherwise a nice playthrough!

I am only just aware of this game and it looks great. Unfortunately, I can't seem to buy it anywhere 🙁

1:05:00 You could have moved one more space, if you used your adrenaline before the slipstream, you was in position 5+. So you could have end beside the blue car

hi, 30:00 is orange in low space and in 1:21:40 is in top space why ?

46:52 the yellow car should have been placed on the inner curve and not the outer curve as the car on the outer curve (where the big white line is) is the car in the lead (which was the blue car).

Just got this game. All addons/extensions (legendary, weather, championship,...) are inside the box. Game of the year 2022 if you ask me.

Hi, nice play , however, as I read the rules, a boost CAN add +1 to +4 and adrenaline ALWAYS adds +1 to your speed ( for corner checks ), slipstream does not.

Love this game. Simple, but has just enough strategy to keep me engaged. Also can play in less than an hour.

Thanks for uploading this. I am waiting on my nestbox so these videos are helping my satisfy my will to play lol. One tip to improve your gameplay / competitivity for wingspan: You should always try to start with a strong wetland and forest (in this order). Last game and this game you made the same "mistake", which was to have a weak card source because you didnt play birds in the wetland at the beginning.

I know this is an old video. but just incase anyone watches it, there are a couple of rules errors. 1. Soldiers in vehicles acan use their basic actions while in the vehicle, they don't need to alight; so the LRDG can still use the Suppress 4 on his card while in the Navigate seat. 2. Not as important but you don't actually "play" Fog of War cards unless you sue them as initiative bids. They just sit in your hand and are discarded at the end of your turn.

Thanks for taking the time to do this playthrough! For placing the Duet tokens for Automa, as you noted, you didn't do it correctly the first time, but you figured out how to do it correctly the second time at around the 39 minute mark. To summarize for your viewers, there are two actions where Automa takes bird cards (other actions are lay eggs or take food) and for both of the actions where she takes bird cards, she will also place a Duet token. (1) For the face-up card icon, she places her token where it improves how she will score for the end-of-round goal. The Automa card just tells which corner of the map to start looking. (2) For the face-down card icon, she ignores the end-of-round goal and chooses based upon the Automa card which tells you the habitat, type, and the corner of the map to start looking.

So jelly!! Can't wait to get my hands on one!!

Thanks for these videos! About the long setup time, try playing the scenario multiple times, maybe switching sides too, that way you'll get more mileage for your effort. I've found this scenario to be pretty difficult for the LRDG. All the objective tiles are zero cover, so it's very easy for the engineer or scout to get pinned down in these. The tank is pretty useful in this scenario because A) the driver has a control action, B) it is impervious to all regular fire, C) there's the empty middle seat - stick the machine gunner there and you effectively have two units that can attack and suppress from relative safety.

What a great playthrough, you really teach well. I've had this game for sometime now but it's been really hard for me to clearly understand the rules and what I'm supposed to do. After watching your video, it all makes way more sense. Cheers!

I too love metal coins but am really disappointed in these coins. The look, weight and feel of these coins are excellent. However the relief of the center design is larger than the outer edge of the coin (no rim) making the coins like a convex lens and impossible to stack.

I know this is an old video, and not sure that you play it anymore, but for any future views: when you draw a fog card, she may still have moved. That fog card is from a prior guess and replaced the original movement card, so you don’t know what space type she moved to. More fog makes it harder to track her as the game moves on obviously, as you don’t know her movements and cannot guess on the fog cards/movements. Worded differently, she still moves A, B, C, etc but it may be A, fog, C after 1st cycle thru. She still moves to B, you just can’t see it. And this is why you lost her.

Right around the 30 minute mark...why did the orange take that spot? Isn't it measured by the next corner, so the "inside" would be on the other lane? This is the one thing I always struggle with using this otherwise awesome system.

You can seat more than 1 person in a turn, according to the rulebook (you can do the additional actions any number of times, except for the add to a die action)

Late to the show, but... If you still play this, try my variant with 2 AIs... Play with 2 colours, and one deck, and just pull a card for one, do the action, and then pull another one for second AI. When they capture workers, they still capture biggest group, meaning they can capture AIs workers of another colour. Adds so much to the game for me.

I play a lot of solo and I just bought Architects of the west kingdom and the age of artisans so I was very happy you made this solo play through. I learned a lot. Thanks! Can't wait to play.
