Hi, many thanks for the beautiful uploads! I have a question, please - there is a video with the opening of "Adam's Family Tree" 1998 with Anthony Lewis. Do you have the series? I would gladly purchase it if you had it. Please let me know. Thank you!
Much preferred the C4 Schools Picture Box titles (1993 era) - these ones were creepy
you mean the 1989 till 1993 era, That was the picture box that i remember , and the picture box from 1989 was great. i did enjoy watching the episode called the busker which was on youtube years ago and that episode was hosted by a frank skinner lookalike where a brick hits the busker on the head. and picture box on channel 4 between 1989-1993 was a itv schools production
no fucking way
Kawabonga
I can imagine someone animating this with Thomas
Omgggg 🥺🥺🥺
In Wegener PANDA 🐼 1 analogue stereo sound from the Astra Satellite, due to low levels of hiss and noise.
What if John Hasler Voiced Percy And Stepney
Never liked the new look ITV Schools & Colleges.
Sorry but I preferred these ones
I did... Thought they were miles better
Man I love this show wish us a way to get all the seasons on episodes
You have a video of the intro of 'Adam's Family Tree'. You wouldn't by any chance have actual episodes as well, would you? (as I can't leave comments in that video I could only ask here).
How can it be ITV Schools if it was shown on Channel 4? I've wondered about that since I was at school!
It was a franchise thing... ITN actually produces channel 4 news
ITV wanted to concentrate on their daytime schedule in 1987,so moved Schools programmes to Channel 4. There was nothing in that space at the time as Channel 4's broadcasting hours didn't begin until the afternoon at that time.
ITV did provide C4 with funding from its' inception until 1993 so that's why.

I was there and watched it burn. My parents and I stood at the gate and watched almost the entire thing. I remember them trying to save the art and furniture, and I remember watching the fire trucks rushing in.
I wonder how the fire affected the paranormal fabric at this notoriously haunted site.
started because a workman left on a light next to a curtain when he was on his break.
I hope he got a promotion for his trouble burning down a building like that is not easy
Is there a version of this ID without the announcer in the background? If so please give me a link to it. Thanks.

Lovely.
can't understand a g.d. word they're saying.
Classic! I was a big fan of both T-Bag and T-Shirt in the 1980s. One of the funniest shows ever made for kids. 👍
is this real
oh it is
A very inspirational person.
How old is John Hasler when you was first shown?
What really made me angry was The Government pays no insurance against such an event to a PUBLIC building. So The Government finds the repair costs when a fire happens? Wrong! They opt out and say the repair costs must come from opening Buckingham Place to the public and charging for the privilege of viewing what we own anyway! Then £600 million was spent on the white elephant that was The Millennium Dome and millions found to keep it open a few more weeks. But then it was Tony Blaire's pet project.
Where was Sarah ? I hope Andrew and Sarah remarry
Texas made they had been separated since March
1992 was the "annus horribilis" the Queen talked about. Charles and Diana divorced, Andrew and Fergie separated, then Windsor Castle went up.

Is Darren still alive? I hope so.
Sadly no 😢

@@goingnowherefast1834 John alderton did all the voices in the original fireman sam from 1987 to 1994
So T-Shirt was moonlighting for the Lever Brothers. I knew he must had a more stable income then serving witches their tea. :D
Thomas the tank engine also was in this show
£36.5 Million was the total cost of the restoration in 1992 money, which in 2016 amounts to £68.1 Million. 70% of which was paid by public funds, such as the income from opening up of Buckingham Palace to the public. To try and settle public anger, the Queen paid £2 Million (in 2016 money £3.8 Million) and also would pay income tax on her private income from the 1993 tax year. This would be at the highest rate which was back then 40%, now 45%. The problem was that the Queen does not own the castle, it is owned by the state. In the same way she does not own Buckingham Palace. The only estates she does own is Balmoral in Scotland and Sandringham in Norfolk.
Fuck me do you own a room in one of these properties
The estimate was £60 million, and the work was carried out at a much lower price, £36 million. 70% was funded by charging entry fees into the castle grounds and the revenue from opening up the state apartments at Buckingham Palace, initially for 5 years. This is not as you imply public funds. The Queen also personally donated £2 million to the restoration programme. As you state, the property is stated owned, so it should have been paid for by the state.
After the fire the public had to pay for the damage

I'm sorry but with how much priceless art was in the castle, I would happily give an arm and a leg to help restore it for future generations. It makes me nauseas just watching this and thinking about what happened.
Inside job
+WiseMan No, just pure incompetence and terrible care taken for health and safety.
it happend in November it's nearly easter and it's nearly April
'The worst thing we could imagine happening', 'just a tragedy'. Sad yes, but it's that kind of outlook which turns pretentious art critics into laughing stocks.
Back when the BBC was still decent
+Redfox161616 So true your comment. Look how better their news output was in 1992.
This was on the same night as BBC Children in Need appeal. I remember watching this bulletin back in 1992 when I was just seven years old. I have been to Windsor Castle and it looks fantastic now, the restoration was excellent.
I was also 7 in 1992. Remember this being one of the first news stories that truly upset me. My parents took us to Windsor on days out, so I felt gutted that we might never go there again. Such a beautiful place. :-)
It was all started after a spotlight ignited a curtain
