When you said the analogy about hanging around better muscicians this thought came to mind: I'm a guitarist, and like to play fast, so I "compare" myself to other guitarist on the internet so I can understand what is good playing and what is not. I don't have really any close persons who are proficient at the guitar. But thanks to the internet I can basically "be" with other greater guitarists and gain inspiration from them. The same goes for my walk with Jesus. I'm the only one I know in my circle that tries his best to follow Christ and it would be harder if I couldn't get advice from anyone. But thanks be to the internet, you and God for making all this possible; I get to hear people speak life and inspired by them. I realized this yesterday how lost many of my acquaintances are when most got drunk and danced like idiots to put it bluntly. Praise God I didn't drink, rather I just read James and 1 Peter. I had hard time not saying anything about Jesus and to find an appropriate time to do it. You do good work, as well as the other people I follow. God bless you!

Spot on, i can be really bad at watching who I’m spending time with, usually out of some blind hope that they’ll all see the light. “You might be the only window they have to see Christ” that hit me hard, because yeah in my little British town, Christ is not abundant. Some of the stories I could tell about spiritual warfare would probably cause most to recoil 😅 It’s exhausting, but it’s been great to hear your journey Gabby, this video in particular has given me some strength when I’ve really needed it. Excellent message, as always, Gabby! You really inspire me dear. Coming at a time when I'm finishing a 5-day partial fast but have been getting heavy attacks from Satan during this fast as opposed to numerous others I've done in the past. I thought I was on track with my path with Jesus however lately I've been sidetracked and held back by some needs in my family of origin. So trying to stay inspired knowing God works in His time, not mine. There are blessings along the way. Please pray for my journey. I am praying for you dear Sister in Christ!

What if the people at Church are backstabbing, betraying, lying, bullying and talk about following JESUS? I have had to separate myself from a toxic Church environment, but I understand that GOD led me there to show me the Church has been infiltrated by the enemy. Don’t trust people even though they talk with good Holy language but do the opposite. Prideful pastors are also very toxic. I have used these videos and other teachers to help bridge the gap until GOD leads me to another Church.

For me, I notice the spiritual warfare more while I try to sleep. It seems worse when I take time to read my Bible or if I been reading and slack off a few days. I don't get any rest. I have issues getting to sleep.

Gabby you are precious and remind me so much of my younger self with no social media outlet. I have recently experienced the same exact thing with lack of support and encouragement. I had the exact revelation…very painful but I also see the warfare over arching. It’s interesting that I do better when there is a break in that relationship….hmmm. There will always be haters so you have to tune them out but the closer you are with HIM the more opposition you will be faced with and yes discernment is absolutely key. I hope we can meet one day. I think that one of the many beautiful examples of true friendship is displayed in John 11:11, where God awakens Lazarus from his sleep. That is what we are called to do as well, and that also means that our own flesh has to die to truly bring others to life; not searching for strength or knowledge in ourselves, but by what the Holy Spirit works when we seek it in God. That is the best way to show friendship, to awaken someone from the sleep of death. In other words, true friendship can only be shown in Jesus.
