You need to use a move that has guard break properties against Taki in that mission. I easily recommend doing Nightmare's Drop Kick (66kB) a couple of times to deal with her quickly.

@Ekraelum glad that you enjoyed the run. Also, the word Japanese is not used in any way as a offensive word. I used mostly full sentences and proper grammar when I wrote down my explanations. If there were some mistakes it could be because English is my second language and I didn't pay attention to the grammar or sentence structure at that time. Please let me know if there are any issues so that I can fix the grammar mistakes. Also, you claimed that the word Japanese is an abbreviation, which is more offensive in my opinion. One more think, I hope some of these strategies can be helpful if you decide to play the game. Thanks once again.

@@Baja646 Never claimed that the word japanese was an abbreviation. The problem lies on the abbreviation you used, not the word japanese. When abbreviating the word japanese, you should always use either JP or JPN. Never use the first 3 letters in the word japanese. You can look it up, it's a racial slur and it's considered highly offensive, even when used as abbreviation. Tho I trust you probably didn't know and it was a honest mistake, but things like these should be widespread to avoid accidents like these in the future. You seem like a nice person. Again, I trust you didn't know. I don't know what your first language is, but I hope you understand. Think of it as how Mexico is often abbreviated as MXN.

@@Ekraelum Where exactly did I used it to make the correction. I don't see it in this video. Is it in another video? Like that's the thing, I don't know where the improper abbreviation that you are claiming is. If you could please tell me which comment or title it is, then I'll fix it. Also, just to let you know, in Spanish we abbreviate Mexico as MEX, just a cool fact. However, in Spanish Japan is also abbreviated as JPN. If I did that mistake, just know that it wasn't on purpose. One more thing, once you tell me where the word is located that I need to fix (if it is a reply in which I made the mistake, please let me know too), do you think you can tell me the title of the video and put the sentence that I need to fix? For example, ---Title, "sentence." ---You can write the proper abbreviation so that I could do the same. Hope this gets us to solve this misunderstanding.

Haven't watched your other videos yet but it's just an observation [edit]: also the very first comment I made told you the correct abbreviation (JP or JPN). Abbreviations aren't necessarily part of a language (plenty of English speaking sites abbreviate japanese as JPN), so anything a along as it's nothing offensive should be fine

@@Ekraelum So I just went through UA-cam and I looked at the title, double checked it and it says "Soulcalibur II - Weapon Master 100% Speedrun WR (3:52:11)." Now I went to my Twitch channel and the title is what you said "Soulcalibur II - Weapon Master 200% (J word - 3:52:21.800). " I also checked that the video on UA-cam and Twitch are the same to make sure we are talking about the same video. So I don't know if your UA-cam feed shows you the Twitch channel title or this was originally on twitch and you didn't specify it. I would like to get a verification on that because it literally made things super confusing. I also went through the titles of other highlights on my Twitch channel and realized that I was using the same improper abbreviation on other videos. I will fix that as soon as possible. Also, this also explains why I didn't know why you were calling me out on UA-cam for the mistake because it wasn't there. However, I'm pretty sure that the Twitch channel title could have been the title at some point in UA-cam because I just transfer the highlights from Twitch to UA-cam. Regardless of that, I did made the mistake without knowing (Due to lack of abbreviation knowledge and negligence to verify the information) and moving forward I'll be more careful when making titles for videos. Controllers can be hit or miss depending of how good your wiimote and nunchuck are. If they are not good at detecting motion controllers, then is going to feel a bit off during combat. At least in my case though, once you get use to the controllers and the gameplay, it feels satisfying to play the game. I just hate the RNG parts at that point.

I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed watching the speedrun. The voices were set in Japanese because I was playing on the Japanese version. Also, I'm not sure if the Japanese version has English voices. If it does, I think that's actually kinda cool for an old game.

@@Baja646 The japanese version doesn't include the English voices (played it myself when I was a kid), but the PAL and NTSC-U versions do include the japanese voices. In the HD Online remaster, they cut off the option to change the voice language, which made it immediately skippable for me lol I don't like the English voices in SCII

It doesn't. We use the easiest difficulty to make things more consistent.

Yeah, one round and the easiest difficulty is all you need for a good run. I also would like to point out that there are different levels of difficulty between different regions. The Japanese version is by far the easiest version that the community knows about.

Glad that you liked the video and that it brought memories when you were younger. I was the same too. I wasn't super good or anything like that. I decided to speedrun the game because I enjoyed it when I was a kid, and I got so into it that I ended up getting some good times lol

In order to unlock Subchapter 2, you need to be LV72 and replay the mission stage 3 on chapter 4. I hope this helps.

@@madam1-254 yeah, unfortunately the lv72 is a requirement. Look for a good mission that will give you a decent amount of experience by clearing it. It should unlock once you are lv 72 and then you clear the mission that I said before. Best of luck.

Yeah, Voldo is extremely good when it comes down to getting ring outs. There are other decent characters that you can use for the speedrun, but ultimately Voldo is still the best. Also, I really hope you enjoyed the run :)
