I must have missed something here. I filled in the metadata (in Bridge) and when completed, clicked the check mark at the bottom right..............but it didn't automatically update all the images in Bridge. And even more significantly how and where do you Save this metadata so as to create a Template that can be readily accessed and input (not import) but input in all future images/artwork?

Thanks for this! The first option worked great. Going through the file folders beats the other options I was finding online. The HEIC files maintain their metadata too, unlike the JPEGs or PNGs I downloaded from iCloud. Appreciate the help

Be careful if you rename label names when you already have colour labels assigned to photos they go white. Renaming label names back to default will return any previous colour coded photos to the colour you chose.

The photos added through the desktop app are not saving to Amazon Photos, but to my desktop. A search by name for the photo does not pull up the photo. Most have actual names and are still not found. I'll look at Amazon drive

Have you tried PhotoMill? You can create your own Sorting criteria and copy move once you have them all indexed.

I have been owned one of these since 2019 but noticed the carrier sheets (I have replaced them over the years) now get a streak from the roller within no time from 1-2 scans. I scan all my greeting cards I receive every Christmas and run the cards through the scanner with the carrier sheets and the ScanSmart utility to scan to pdf. I perform the roller and glass cleaning everytime I use the scanner but even Epson could not provide an answer, only to send it in to a local authorized repair facility. No! LOL. it seems like the rollers are pulling in too hard perhaps. Just my opinion. Not a way to tell the unit to not pull in and scan a little more gently. I could use my Flatbed all in one printer to do this, but the 2 sided scanning feature is so useful on the Fastfoto. Any ideas?

How can Vuescan get only 4 stars for pricing? I bougt mine 7 years ago and has used it with 5 or 6 scanners after that, with no extra cost. Biggest problem with SilverFast is you need a license for each scanner. When you decide to upgade your scanner, with SF your cost will go up considerably, possibly much much more than the price of your scanner.

Hi! I have a brother mfc (all-in-one). I bought it for the size (11x17), not for the scanning. I am a landscape designer and use it to print larger plans than typical A4. I have a small epson v39 that works great. BUT! I've started doing some illustration work and I need a bigger scanner. Do I simply invest in some software to make my brother scanner work better, or do I rip off the bandaid and invest in a new scanner? Thank you!
