The original is a classic and also really didn’t need a sequel! In the new one there is literally so many plots happening at once and new characters all thrown together a it was a mess 😢the wedding scene I think was dragged out too much

The no chemistry and bad acting is crazy. I think you should have watched all 2 seasons since you've watched the movie to get the full breath of everything. Watching 2 episodes and making a judgement (also without having any knowledge of the source material). I thinking she wasn't interested in the new one so she barely looked into it and went in with her judgement rather than giving it a fair chance. Like some of your questions have been answered as the story has gone on.

This was an interesting listen. I feel like because of ppl's dislike for J.Lo, they will REFUSE to give her credit for doing Selena justice. In my opinion, it WAS one of her best role, if not her best role. When it comes to the Abraham taking control of the narrative for the movie and releasing it so soon, you tell me what you expect a GRIEVING PARENT to do when there are other studios ready to release movies based on rumors, which speaking of, while you said "I'm not saying these rumors are true..." you certainly perked up at them because everyone always wants the "dirt" over the good. Whether it was true or not, had nothing to do with the legacy of music she left behind. Do I think they should've made her more human in the series? Yes, but NOT in the way that y'all seem do want juicy tea about potential affairs and whatnot. I will say the best humanized Selena we'll probably ever get is from Chris's book, To Selena: With Love. And Chris did NOT say they were going to divorce over the doctor. They were having other issues. The comments about Chris's appearance were low, and "no shade" doesn't make it better. Make sure you're looking like god's gift if you're gonna start coming for appearances.

I've discovered, after 15 years of intensive independent research, that Charles Dickens wasn't the original author of "A Christmas Carol." His social reform was a public relations image; but the original co-authors, Mathew and Abby Whittier, were sincere. Actually, Mathew had long written for social reform, against such things a debtors' prison, poverty, animal abuse and capital punishment. Abby did charity work with Irish immigrants and wrote stories (anonymously) featuring her clients, based on that work. They would, as I believe, have written "A Christmas Carol" based on one of their earlier collaborations, in 1838-39.

So happy to see you guys back! My condolences on everything that happened and my heart goes out to you guys. Maybe you can talk on a minisode about all these shows having shortened seasons. I finally caught up on Flash and Supergirl, after being a season or two behind on each, just to have to wait till god knows when for them to finish their seasons 😩. My fave Kurosawa so far is Ikiru. And Throne of Blood has a special place in my heart. Also, so down for trivia! My team obviously hasn’t been meeting during all this, and hasn’t been doing anything virtually. So, yeah I miss it.

You guys should video record all the minisodes if you can from now on. The visual companions to the movie/show topics are great!
