is it just me who kind of saw the pushing part coming? i was analysing this game from the very start on my first gameplay and i knew the first something boss fight specifically taking place at the stairs weren't for nothing, the other boss fights with the spiders and water only added up to my suspicion that this game has something for stairs and why Sunny refused to go downstairs at first even though he was hungry. And then they mentioned Mari's death, which i found extremely weird because she seemed so happy in the photo album, but i didn't really put the pieces together until that one scene where Mari's spiritis playing the piano telling Sunny she pushed him too hard and the "you'll forgive yourself, right Sunny?" I found that pretty strange, and at first i was jokingly thinking that Mari fell down the stairs and died and Sunny just saw or something, but as soon as it showed that one picture from the truth album with them standing at the top of the stairs i kind of instantly knew, did not see basil being in this coming though. I wanted to say i saw the hanging bit coming with the way Sunny's friends were implying she commited suicide, i was thinking at some point a staged suicide was planned because i watched too many movies but didn't really expect there to actually be one, but sort of didn't act surprised when it showed, final duet still got me tho sorry for the yap sesh i just wanted to brag about being obsevant asf🗣️‼️‼️
