You’re missing the point they have Marilyn in the commercial using their product when Marilyn has made clear she never liked so why would they use her image to promote their brand….thats the opposite of showing respect
I don't like the fact that Marilyn's only glamorized for her beauty opposed to who she actually was. She never liked Dior in the first place and actually preferred Chanel #5.
@fashion23727 I think the problem is they have trouble finding women who could match the glamour those actresses had. There are a few....and it is wrong...who gets the royalties for them? Grace Kelly has family who can claim it, I'm not sure about the rest. There's no way they get to use their likenesses for free.
