Just a normal bloke from Liverpool who rides a Bandit (that is a Suzuki GSF 1250 SA). I tend to put up a mixture of content from reviews of various biker bits and bobs, vlogs about a range of things, and videos of various Motorbike tours and ride outs. Hope you enjoy them. Don't forget to subscribe!

Nice video. I ride a 2012 model bandit here in NZ. Our roads are far far worse than the ones in yr video. Great bikes aye.
Do you still ride the Bandit....
What do you drive now
My favorite ride is Sydney to Adelaide via Coonawarra, just watch out for the kangaroos! however, enjoy the wine!
Well spoiler alert, it’s not a wheely machine.
Just bought a 1250sa my first bike. Haven't passed my test yet but currently half way through. I'm so eager to get out on it once passed. I will definitely be sensible. My only concern is what you said about the front end lifting up.
I have the fully faired 1250, it is not perfect, but twist the throttle, who cares.
Hi mate 👍 Just come across this video and it was exactly what I have been searching for. The other day I was out on my bike when the fuel gauge started flashing, I immediately panicked because I had just joined the motorway 🛣 I slotted in behind a lorry and was doing about 55 mph 🤣 but after watching your video I now realise I had plenty fuel ⛽ left. Thanks mate 👍
Hi Scouse Just checking if you are still doing your entertaining videos buddy? Hope you are still riding the fantastic 1250 Bandit.
Thinking of getting on of these 1250 bandits .. do they pull front up alot .. 🤔 I'm 5.7 height be OK many thanks
I sold the Bandit a year ago now. But I'd another if I could afford two bikes! The front end coming up depends on you!!! It can if you have a heavy right wrist! Height size you should be fine. I'm 6ft and found it a little low for me. I started getting cramp behind the knee. But at 5.7 you should be ok. Try one and see.
Thanks for replying mate much appreciated. Bandit 1250sa it is .
As a hopefully, only semi retired, fuel inj 650 Bandit, Banditateer fekkin Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike, don't think even the thought of getting a Really Healthy 1200,1250 Bandit, would cure my ACHE ,for my late beloved 05 fuel inj Bandit, one careful cautious owner, who basically ran it in for 15,000 miles, Superb, Had not been on a bike, Kawasaki for 27 years, March 19, first ride in Ernest, going out , after midnight, just to try it out, Nice, a brand new Fiesta and Focus ST undertook me at speed, nearly a mile into ride, cared not a jot. Caught up with Focus ST at lights, neutral feet down, look up, amber the ST is off, always wait for green, not worth the Hassle. I'm not even trying to race, catch up even, but 1st,2nd,3rd,not going above, just under 3,500rpm, I'm about a car length behind, 4th gear, twitch throttle, response immediate, kid you not SHAZZAM, level with driver, a second or two later, slowly but surely, twisted throttle,. and it felt like an industrial catapult fired it away, chicane in nearly 100 yards, could not lean an iota, could only twitch bars, left, right upright, back wheel, might as well, been in a track, FORWARD,all at the back wheel, arms limp, very Special, called it a Perfect Storm, had many, but nowhere near enough. Lights 350 yards later, I'm at lights,.can see a 100 yards behind, nothing 1,²,3, headlights, Focus at lights, What you've got there is very, very special. Me, now about 2 miles into ride, eh, the big story is, it red lines at 12,000rpm, driver laughed we parted, hindsight should have said, red lines at 12,000, and when I left the ST, for parked????, never went over 6,500rpm, 4th gear??,89 actual mph, said 92, was 89 capable of just over 80 mph in 2nd gear, and that's plenty. 58,59 times more biking joy, than in 84, my nearly new GPZ 750 turbo, heard first production bike any size, to do the standing quarter mile in 10 seconds, mine, I got 161mph, See o over top end speeds, thanks to Bandit Time, it's the acceleration, that JOYOUS. THRILL, ever turn of the throttle, was Grin inducing, every single ride???a new Treat, Yours Professor Bandit fuel inj 650 B.T.E. out. A PhD in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical.
As a hopefully? only, às asemi retired fuel inj. 650 Bandit, Banditateer fekkin Banditaholic, nice saunter, not my late beloved Bandit,it wouldould have been having joy, at every little straight, SHEET,the immediate throttle response, it's acceleration??, immediate !;!. It was 05, one very careful cautious owner, who basically ran it in for 15,000 miles, and first ride in Ernest, in 27 years, just after midnight, not quite,a mile later a brand new Focus ST, undertook me at speed, cared not a jot. Traffic lights,ST on inside. neutral, feet down, look up, amber the ST is off, Bandit not over 3,000 rpm, 3rd gear, a car length behind ST, 4th gear, twitched throttle SHAZZAM, level with ST driver I pull the throttle gently, felt like an industrial catapult sent it forward, upright, chicane ahead, could only steer through the chicane, could not lean an iota. ST pulls up at lights, What you've got there is very, very special, now I'm nearly 2 miles into first proper ride in 27 years, apart from what just happened,I know NOTHING. Special, the big story is it red lines at 12,000 rpm, driver laughed,we parted, hindsight, should have said SPECIAL,the big story is it red lines at 12,000, but see when I left you for parked, never went above 6,500rpm,4th gear, actual speed 88,89mph,so yeah 4th gear, all the joy you could ever want ot need
I have the GSX 1250 fa, which is almost the same bike, I agree with everything you say, plus the bike handles way better than might expect, also the suspension is pretty good.
TREAT,not test.
Bandit Time???,Always a Test, never ever same old same old.
March 19, no bike, Kawasaki for 27 years, very lucky to get a 05 fuel inj. 650 Bandit, one very careful, cautious owner, who basically ran it in for 15,000 miles,SHEET, FANTASTIC,58,59 times more biking joy, than in 84, my nearly new GPZ 750 turbo, heard first production bike any size, to do the standing quarter mile in 10 seconds, got 161 mph, would sit planted, sure 140 mph, all day long, and if the road was clear, over 150 mph, MUCH MUCH rather have a HEALTHY fuel inj Bandit, never above3rd gear???,FINE, NO PROBLEM,ALL THE JOY, I COULD HAVE,on a bike, would be my late beloved fuel inj. 650 Bandit, 3rd gear??, SPECTACULAR.yours Professor fuel inj. 650 Bandit B.T.E., out. Got a PhD Masters in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical. Sadly now a semi retired fuel inj Bandit, Banditateer fekkin Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike. Possibly a Kawa.GT 750, my favourite Kawasaki.
Superb, Bandit Time,??!!!, the best, find a Perfect Storm,??,Riding JOY. yours Professor Bandit fuel inj.650 B.T.E. out.
Great setup. Fantastic bike. Great review
Why people hide number plates? We can see yours cars plate... and even so, what does it change? Are people afraid that someone will get an insurance quote on their plate?
Nice video, quite different from other UA-cam videos on the topic. I ride all year round, too. I have a Honda NTV 650 with a shaft drive, so I don't have to worry about the chain maintenance. Right after I received my motorcycle rider's license, winter came. In order not to lose the few skills I gained at the motorcycle school I put on Anlas winter tyres and started riding. I'm a food delivery courier and I've now ridden in snow, sleet, rain, fog, gail etc, both with it on the road and falling from the sky. It's all in the head. Don't blame the environment. The ONLY thing really stopping you from enjoying different riding conditions, surpassing challenges and gaining new skills is YOU. Greetings from Northern Europe.
I like the cases! 👍🏼
Great video. I have the same bike, same colour too. I have just fitted a radiator cover but never thought about that fender extender. I will definitely invest in one of those because the down pipes and engine do catch a lot of crap from the road. I might consider some of the other modifications you have done too. Well done mate. Oh and your right, it is a cracking bike, I love mine.
Hi John. I am looking at one of these on Tuesday, I know all about the the great engine! but what is it like to ride on the twisty parts? Thanks John :)
@@johnberry5339 Hi there. Well I have found it ok on twisty roads. It is a heavy bike so you notice that at very low speeds, like maybe negotiating a mini roundabout. All in all I love mine. Hope you feel the same when you get yours.
Got a couple of these bandits they are awesome do you still have that bike and enjoying it
I've no idea were we are ...🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
British people talking about "proper winter"... I saw someone else do ths before. Show a picture with snow and ice and no snow and ice in the video itself. I'm just curious if anyone is actually crazy enough to ride 80km/h+ on snowy icy roads. I guess those that try don't live long enough to talk about it.
Thank you
Nothing better than a tour with mates-especially with the Bandit ( i'm biased- mine is the same colour!!)
Fantastic bike, owned one but there are a few negatives , first. Pegs are a little high and back for 32 inseam or longer especially if your sport touring, unknown noise comes from the front fairing , they all make that noise, chain maintenance sucks, hard luggage is costly and you need it if your touring, bike is super smooth, plenty of power, injection is spot on, handling is superb, nice and quiet, fast as hell, 6 spd, abs, no rider modes, a plain simple bike, for cheap money, dont produce it any longer but parts still available, full fairing is also available to purchase, I think for sport touring a st 1300 or fjr or concours would be better, but it would come at a higher price, more comfort, shaft drive, hard luggage, electronic wind screen, you wouldn't have to purchase another thousand dollars for the Suzuki with luggage, hted grips, higher windshield ect, wish I could have both, nice bike though, set up correctly!
Missing you on you tube buddy always enjoy you videos. Oh lemon drizzle cake love it buddy, hope to see you back on here soon
So where have you got to Scouse Bandit? Yes the Quad Lock system works great buddy. I’ve also got the 09 Bandit 1250 in Perl White. I find it a bit heavy to move about but boy is it a great bike on the road
Absolutely get that feeling a lot when I'm in a car...drive a galaxy diesel and cant get past 40mph dawdlers so I play the game of planning all the overtakes I could do on the bike
LLLL LOVE BANDITS, WALKAROUND VIDEO??? BOO!! BANDIT'S ACCELERATION IS WHAT BANDITS ARE ALL ABOUT.!!! STRAP YOUR CAMERA ROUND YOUR NECK, AND LET PEOPLE BE IN AWE OF THE MIGHTY BANDIT'S ACCELERATION!!!!! MY 1984 GPZ750TURBO WAS REALLY GOOD AND VERY FAST, BUT RESPONSE AND ACCELERATION WISE?? COMPARED TO MY '05 GSF 650 BANDIT, NOT EVEN A BANDIT S, BETTER THAN A BANDIT S.!!!!TURBO ACCELERATION, SEEMS MORE LIKE A 400 SUPERDREAM???!!! AND I AIN'T EVEN LYING. TAKE THE 1250 OUT FOR RIDE!!! AND SHOW PEOPLE, HOW SPECIAL BANDITS REALLY ARE.
Exactly what i needed. I also own gsf650s so this video is spot on for me 👌🏼👌🏼
Had my GT Air for about 3 years now and my 1250 for over 5 years. Still love them both!!
@@greenwooddigger thats great. Looking to buy a GT Air :) Just to ask you something if you dont mind. Do you have any "whistling" issues with the helmet, especially when riding with sun visor down and visor opened. Tnx man 🤘🏼🤘🏼
No whistling in my experience. The sun visor is optically very good. I'm sure there are quiter helmets but it's not bad at all. And it's all day comfortable. I have an intercom fitted and can listen to music/phone calls etc with no problems.
@@greenwooddigger great. I just bought Cardo pactalk Bold .. so cant wait to mount it all together 👌🏼 I'm on the bike 365days a year so looking for a quality comfy lid ;)
@@greenwooddigger Had my 1250s for 5 years and Shoei GT 12 months. Not happy with the helmet, too noisy and the visor is too tight. I much prefer my previous Shoei. This is my 5th Shoei and it by far the noisiest.
How do you find the seat , not done any massive rides but I think I'll get numb arse on my 1250
I've never found it to be a problem. The fuel tank empties before any I get any discomfort. So that gives the opportunity for a stretch!!! Ride safe
Hi Scouse Bandit. Just to say I bought myself a K9 1250 last December,it was not in the best order when I got it but I spent about £600.00 on it and now it’s a bloody good bike. Put braided hoses on it and a new front tyre then oil and filter plus valve check. Changed all the fluids which I proved the suspension and made it handle parity good. Also put a scorpion can on it just for looks more than anything but now I’m very pleased with the bike. I do own a K1 B12 that I love riding but the bottom end torque on the 1250 is mind blowing as it just keeps building. Think my B12 is a bit more fun but it’s hard to say which one is best. Not thinking of getting rid of either any time soon as when I like a bike it’s not easy for me to sell it down the line. I do have a couple of Honda VFR’s in the garage too 750 and 800, I’ve had my 750 over 20 years now and I’m still not looking to sell it. Must say I’ve enjoyed your Blogs but not seen anything new from you for a long time now. How you are still enjoying riding what ever bike you might have these days. Take care and be safe and above all enjoy you time on the bike
Not seen any new stuff from you in the last year or so. How are you doing hope all is well with you and the bike these days buddy.
what tyres are you running
Just brought a red GSF 1250SA and after not riding for 25 yrs - love it
ua-cam.com/video/TI6K1Y7fvW0/v-deo.html
Just bought this jacket, your review is spot on, its a quality jacket, fit is on the snug side, but plenty of movement in the jacket, well made. Only annoying thing is the velcro on the sleeve keeps attaching to the zipper velcro. Thanks for your review! I'm a 45" chest, went for the L, I figured the XL would be too long as I'm not that tall!
Just can I do little advise, when you do video do not put brightest point (windows, projectors e.t.c.) behind you. As product you reviewing absolutely not visible. Thanks!
Please move the camera MUCH closer, can't see or hear a thing. Nice Jacket.
Also, would be great to hear a extended-use updated review.
Same as the man from Pennsylvania, I bought a 2016 in feb of this year and love it! I added a Sargent seat 3 inch riser to the handlebars (short arms), and a couple of English editions, Delkevic muffler and a Beowulf radiator guard. Plus a Givi top box. Love it!
Sounds like you added some very nice upgrades.
ELO. Great music
You don’t need to rev it that high, it is a low rpm beast!
I just bought a 2009 o e. Absolutely loving it.
Yoshi sounds great.Get one,you will love it.
I have one,great bike.Bullet proof.
You're using so much petrol because you're standing still and idling most of the time. I get 230 out of mine. 175 is sucking. Perhaps you should have used your brain instead of your ego, and got a moped.
i call mine The Beast :D
Second year with mine, I got a 2016 leftover last summer from a dealer here in PA USA the bike was discounted quite a bit as I guess they didn't sell very many over here. But I absolutely love my 1250 Bandit, Amazing bike. Its just so comfortable! at some point I plan go cross country, but this summer I would like to take it to Niagara and Detroit.
