Thank you for watching, I try to make the tabs as accurate as possible for you guys. Let us know what tuning you use. I would have used a 5 string, but I did not like the tone I got using my 5 string roundwound so I used D standard on my 4 string instead. I also figured that for those that don't have a 5 string this would be a good option to hit that low D. I don't like tuning my 4 string down back and forth myself since I mainly play in E standard but for this one song I did not mind. Drop D (DADG) felt a bit odd for me to play this song in. Felt like there was a lot of big jumps. This is why D standard was used, but maybe drop D would not feel weird for you guys. This aside, on a 5 string you will not have to change the tuning since you'll have access to the Low D on a 5 string (BEADG), but the tabs will have to be transposed differently. Bars 49 and 50 as well as bars 99 and 100 will have open strings on a 5 string (BEADG) that I had a bit of trouble on, but other than that playing it on a 5 string is probably the better way to go. Is BEADG the proper tuning? I do not know. It still felt a bit more difficult to play on a 5 string than on a 4-string tuned to D standard in my opinion. But I am more used to my 4-string than my 5-string so it might just be me. I'll upload the tabs soon for the 5-string version for those of you that don't want to tune down. I should have included both in the video. When the tabs are posted on Patreon you will be able to use guitar pro to adjust the tuning and the fingering to make it a bit easier. But of course, you could always do it yourself using the tabs that I put up. But let us know what tuning you would use. I am not sure what the proper tuning would be, but your insight would be very much appreciated.

@@DoggedGrim thanks man, they're good tabs i was just being a smartass. Was just surprised to see a D tuning for a Kirby tube which does not really go down there anyway.

@@drwhave No problem man haha and thank you again. Yeah, the only way to hit that low D other than having a 5 string was dropping the E down to D. When I was first transcribing it, I was doing it in standard tuning and then I got hit by the low notes and knew I needed to do something about the tuning. But it felt really odd to play when I played it DADG.(Drop D) So I messed around with the tunings until I landed on D standard, and I felt comfortable there and was able to hit the notes I needed to get. However as far a proper tuning goes, I really would not know. Since you can play it on a 5 string without having to change the tuning. In regard to this, you are right since you can play this on a 5 string without having to change anything. It would have to be rewritten a bit differently. But I was just saying that since I honestly couldn't say which one would be the appropriate or more correct one since I chose to specifically make this for 4 strings. I have no idea how the original creator created the bassline, like if it was done on a 5 or 4 string or keyboard or something. I could be completely wrong for all I know right? haha But I apologize for my previous reply being a bit repetitive with the proper tuning stuff. Please do not be discouraged to type anything that you guys think could be changed. I will be revamping some of the tabs for the videos I have posted before since looking back now I can see how I could have written them better. I am sure you guys can see it too. The goal is to get better and grow and if you guys can teach me anything, I am willing to hear you guys out. So please feel free to always let me know anything that is on your minds especially with regards to the tabs. ty again & Cheers m8.
