Can't get this prepainted for some reason. I picked up the pp master set and the jungle expansion (even though I didn't need it) from my local shop. He only had unpainted versions of the battle box and master set left, so I ordered the other two expansions online. This should be easier to buy prepainted, so this could become a big issue moving on.....

Rules as written I would think within 1 space means adjacent. And within 2 means the circle of 2 hex’s around the figure.

We played this on Saturday. I grabbed a one-hex from the master set. Our first game with the new stuff was this exact scenario. Same results, with Aquilla winning. Ewashia’s power and SA took some practice to commit to memory. I like all six of these new heroes. Fun session to watch. Thanks!

We usually use a camera to resolve disputes, take a picture and as a bonus you get a cool action shot.

9:37 also on the perspective from eye line thing being affected by the field of view of a camera. A 50mm lense is a pretty close approximation of human vision. But that doesn't take into account the fantasy races who have totally different eyes.

You guys made that far more interesting than I was expecting! I've always meant to experiment with a laser pointer for the fun of it. Mostly "get down behind and look" works, but laser does seem to have the advantage that if there was some critical LOS situation where both sides were really invested in it being exactly right, then you might be able to demonstrate the LOS in a fairly objective way. I must say that I was waiting for Adam to break out a dental mirror or something to bounce the laser pointer off of in that tricky "standing next to a cliff situation." That would have been fun to see! :-)

It was really nice meeting you guys and seeing the epic Sonlen & Shiori cosplays, hope to see you both again next year and get a game in! Also the pronunciation segments with members of the community is one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen 😂

So Renegade really screwed up royally with all their events. They could have last out the changes to the unit scoring via the Gen Con system but they did not. Instead they decide to post it on a discord channel that 90% of the people don't subscribe to. At the reveal event Thursday evening I stood up and tried to hold their feet to the fire for how royally they screwed up. And the funny thing was is the gentleman who was in charge of organized play I didn't see him Thursday Friday or Saturday at the events. The very first event Thursday afternoon was delayed by an hour because they required everyone to register for their battle network and that was a real fubar. As far as Saturday goes you're correct they change the parameters at the last possible second and they had another issue where the people who played Thursday and Friday their t-shirt was their entry but yet the event sold out and there was a big fear that there weren't going to be enough maps for everybody to play on. I did not know about everyone not getting the promise sheori like it said in the description. If I'd seen this about 5 hours ago I would have sent you my last spare one but I just donated to Scape Con which is currently happening in Indy.
