Glad you put this in English lol, been trying to figure out these terms and what I can grow here in the Philippines. Thanks for this channel and the info.
Glad it was helpful. Have fun gardening!
After po mag-germinate, you transferred it sa small pots. How often should I water them?
At least once a day, light watering only usually. Check regularly especially on very dry summers. Have fun gardening! :-)
Thank you for your vlog. How many liters or gallons is the size of each container to plant organic sweet potatoes? Do the containers need to be non-toxic to plant my vegetables? Salamat po. Which is better and faster to plant, the yam itself with roots or the stems?
Around 10 to 16L containers will do. Many plants usually fix some toxicities, but if you prefer good ones, clay container pots or non-toxics (some plastics) will definitely help. Have fun gardening!!
How to tell the difference between a male and female flower?
The female flower has a very tiny fruit (green) and flower (yellow) at the end. The male only has the flower but usually bigger! Have fun gardening!
Thank you
You're welcome! Have fun gardening!!
Is daily watering needed?
Yes. Daily watering is needed especially in very dry or hot places. Sometimes, twice a day. Different story if it's raining of course. :-) Have fun gardening!

Malaki po ba market neto sa philippines?
pechay & mustasa very common & staple. Yes, I believe it's a big market overall. But very very common among Filipinos. Have fun gardening!
The number
Magkano po ang price?
Can I use this for giant sunflower and bonsai seeds ?
Also on many flowering seeds, I think you can. It depends, but you can try. NOT all kinds of seeds especially very small ones
@@GardeningPhilippines I actually tried to grow it with water and Hydrogen Peroxide, but it didn't work. :( Thanks btw :)
Do you have the herb - strophanthus seeds?
Not common in the Philippines, I guess. Not sure if some gardening enthusiasts in our region grow it. Happy gardening :-)

Hi, why do you plant many of plants in pots?
For many seeds, I find it very productive especially cheap seeds :-) But I do also plant single seeds once in a while for specifics! Have fun gardening and farming!
@@GardeningPhilippines thanks for answer😊 But I mean why do you planting in pots at all? I follow some gardeners from Philippines and I see that the pots are extremely popular here.
How to mix it with soil po?
Just a bit, since it can be expensive :-). We practice using it with basal fertilizers. For a big pot about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon scattered basal. Not too much. Try to see my videos on garden soil. (Type & Search on my channel) It also depends on plant types or maybe just for seedling mix or maybe lawns for example. Hope this helps! Have fun gardening or faming! :-)
Thanks for sharing
Hello, i want to begin microgreens. Any suggestion po?

Good tutorial tips for farming
So nice of you. Thank you!
Thank you for your video. I want to ask about non food plant filler for water soluble power fertilizer. I saw a product made from mono potassium phosphate and the NPK ratio is only 0-39-25. That mean they put some filler in it. Can you give me a hint?
Hi, I am not really particular about some fillers in fertilizers as there are SO MANY of them with so many brands as well. Fillers can also have differing functions, one of which is to increase the effectivity of fertilizers. Try to know the the filler, and from there you can research about it. :-) Hope this helps. Have fun gardening! :-)
Tanong ko lang po, pagnatuyo na po ung flower tsaka palang po ba pwede iharvest? or kapag may seeds na po pwede na iharvest?
Yes, best when the flower is dry. When seeds are brown to black. Happy gardening :-)
Great video, BTW I also have a small gardening channel! 🌱🌱
Thank you! Happy Gardening! 🙂
Hi ma'am/ sir I am currently 4th year student. I am asking permission to use your UA-cam link for educational purposes.
As long as the video is played & directed from UA-cam, I think it's okay. Happy schooling and gardening :-)
Hello! After they have germinated na and sprouted from the seedling, you then placed in separate pots po no? Did you put them po ba directly outside under the sun agad?
You can put them on trays, cups or pots, but try NOT to put them on direct sunlight initially. Try shaded light, then slowly introduce sunlight. Then you can harden. Have fun gardening!
hi! i just want to ask po if what do you mean by "feed" them? what fertilizer did you use po and what kind of soil did you use? thank you po!
Regular application of fertilizer & proper watering is what I meant when "feeding" Fertilizer application depends on so many factors. As a start you can try complete (14-14-14), then progress with other specialty fertilizers. I do have some videos on fertilizer application. It takes some time, & even trial and error to learn proper feeding with different crops on different circumstances. Soil also needs to be replenished with healthy nutrients. Have fun gardening :-)
@@GardeningPhilippines Yay! Thank you so much!!!

new subscriber here, i hope to have my own garden soon so i can start growing my own fruits and veg, i have some experience in the uk but not here in the Philippines lol

Meron po bang phytochemical ang Lipa?
It is the plant, fruits & other parts that has the phytochemicals. But you can improve, I believe, the phytochemicals by plant care & feeding the plant well. Happy gardening! :-)
Nice 👍 more power to your channel
Thank you! Happy gardening! :-)
